The State of Mississippi used hanging as its method of execution for much of its history.[1] From the earliest recorded execution in 1818 through 2004, records indicate that the state executed a total of 794 people. Of these, the great majority were black males, who account for 639 of recorded executions.[3]

It wasn't for her car. It was for her purse, when she showed up at her boyfriend's house and went out to take the trash can in. They set upon her then and tried to take her purse. She resisted, and they hit her over the head with a gun and then shot her in the stomach. She survived the shooting and two subsequent surgeries, but she choked and died on a pill the hospital gave her. She was a friend of a dear friend of mine. Condolences. That’s horrible.
I was carjacked a few years ago. Very quickly I decided my stuff << my life. Luckily the cowards didn’t kill me anyway.
Tax dollars at working funding the dysfunction.
I agree. Those segregationists weren’t so stupid after all, were they? It’s not law anymore, but I practice it on an individual basis anyway, I prefer to live out my natural God-given life span rather than have some thug decide when my time is up. And don’t even think about the one-sided rape statistics-part of my practical self-segregation is to lessen my chance of that event, because I think I’d kill myself if I was raped by a “teen”, I really do.
