Decision to put cartoon of prophet on front cover condemned as first edition since Paris attacks is instant sellout.
Muslims have reacted warily to Charlie Hebdos defiant cover depicting the prophet Muhammad.
The French satirical weekly was accused of deliberately mocking the Islamic faith and warned that it could fuel further sectarian unrest.
French Muslim leaders appealed for calm after the cover of the magazines special edition, which was an instant sellout on Wednesday with long queues forming at newsstands across France, was leaked ahead of publication.
Theyre free to publish what they like but it affects us, its going to hurt us a lot, a Muslim woman identified as Salya told France Info radio from outside a mosque in Clichy-La-Garenne, a Paris suburb inhabited by many Muslims originally from north Africa.
Outside France, Muslim leaders condemned the weeklys decision to put a cartoon of the prophet back on the cover....

And when we remember some mild disagreement between Sunni and Shiites from 400 years ago, it hurts us... so we kill some of them...

And when we remember that America is a much better place, and western reporters come here and show the rest of the world how horrible we are at running a country, it hurts us... so we behead them...
Well you would to if your god was so weak that he must be defended by bearded men in dirty bed sheets. Clearly he’s not much of a deity if he can’t even defend himself against infidel cartoonists.
You would think that the creator of the universe would have a bit more horsepower, but that’s not who they pray to. Obviously they recognize the limitations of the power of Allah and his profit and must defend them to the last because they are incapable of defending themselves.
It is their own weakness and the weakness of their god, profit and ideology and that drives them mad with rage and hate.
Christians and Jews pray the the Alfa and Omega the God of unlimited power, mercy and love.
We say insult him all you want, see how that turns out for you on judgment day.
LOL! Bill Donahue issued a stern rebuke.
“I havent seen the cover, but if mohammed is crying and holding a Je suis Charlie sign, dis it suppose to mean he supposedly would be crying over the murders and the backwardness and hatefulness of his followers?”
i am confused over the CH cartoon cover as well:
Why is the French magazine Charlie Hebdo publishing a cover saying all is forgiven to those who have slaughtered 12 of their employees? Is their double meaning intentional? the other meaning that Muhammad is forgiving Charlie Hebdo for its offensive depiction of him?
Yep,those are definitely balls on his head and a penis hanging off the back. lol!!!!!!!!
I always thought the reporter team of Evans and Novak were scary - sort of like Scrooge and Marley.
This isn’t Britain or France. This is America where citizens with CWPs are out & about.
If somebody over here doesn’t get popped while screaming “Allahu Akbar!!!”, it’ll demonstrate that an armed society is indeed a polite(r) society.
Sick of PC cowardice!
Yes, an armed society is a polite society.
Rush was approached by a lib at a social function, asking him “what we’re going to do about all the guns in this country”.
He replied, “Tell you what, if you can guarantee me no nutcase is ever going to approach me armed with a gun after my legal firearm is taken, then we’ll talk. Can you absolutely guarantee that?”
That shut him down.
LOL! Novak was especially creepy.
