While I agree that it is totally possible for a rich, famous, popular man who can get it for free or afford to buy it, to be a serial rapist why have none of his accusers provided any evidence?
To the best ig my knowledge none have provided:
Rape kits
DNA evidence
Toxicology reports
Police reports from the time of the alleged crimes.
Eyewitness testimony
Video evidence
Audiotaped confessions
I don’t think most have even provided:
Specific dates and times
Any evidence that they ever even met Cosby, much less that he drugged them and raped them
It seems odd to me that 15 plus accusers can’t seem to come up with a shred of evidence, other than their unsworn, un cross examined statements.
Sounds airy at best.
At the time, no one would believe them. Not the cops, not their best friends. Before this scandal, if a friend of mine told me this story, I’d think about what I (thought i) knew about Mr. Cosby and wonder if she was lying to me - did she have willing sex with him, was dumped back in her car, insulted, and made up the rape part? WE WOULD ALL THINK THAT with any one victim. They knew that. They didn’t know there were others. Also, when you have been raped in a date rape scenario, which some of them kind of were, women don’t always know they were raped. The guilt is overwhelming.
If you want to understand what they went through, imagine you and a friend got introduced to Bill Cosby at an event or club. Everyones chatting, enjoying the evening. At the end, Bill Cosby invites the whole gang, say 15 people of both genders back to his local condo for drinks. Cool! You’re going! Once there, he asks you what you want to drink. “just a cola for me, “ you say. Strangely, half way through the Coke you feel woozy and need to lie down. Everything is fading to black. Bill notices, when no one else seems to, and quickly offers you his den couch to lie down.
When you awaken some hours later, your pants are on the floor, and your rectum is very sore and greasy. You don’t feel so well, and Cosby is nowhere around. You throw on your clothes and beat the hell out of there. ARE YOU GOING TO THE POLICE TO GET THE RAPE KIT DONE? Honestly???
You could write the exact same list of evidence that is lacking (rape kits, DNA, etc.) in the Jerry Sandusky case. There were none of these things. So, I’m assuming you believe Jerry Sandusky was innocent of all of the charges against him. I would really like to hear your defense of him.
