This line makes me wonder: "Police say they are working closely with Ft. Hood, but they have no answers on why the victim wasn't in quarantine"
???????
Sounds like the soldier had a problem much more serious than Ebola.
So, Obama did expose our Military members to a deadly virus? I hope this soldier’s family sues Obama directly!
Hazmat suits, West Africa, quarantine/no quarantine: Let’s see which MSM outlets pick up on this I’d be very surprised if a single one does, and this local news outlet will be shut down immediately.
If I were in charge of troops returning from that assignment, I’m pretty sure there would be a strong screening and monitoring protocol in place.....
I’m guessing the rules are to stay in quarantine for 20+ days coming back from W. Africa. I would think staying at home alone during that time would be considered quarantine.
The local NBC channel has a lengthier report:
“The soldier returned from Liberia in early January. Soldiers returning from West Africa are supposed to be in quarantine for 21 days after returning to the U.S. However, Fort Hood Officials said this soldier was home on emergency leave and was self-monitoring himself twice-a-day and report his status to medical officials.
“Fort Hood Officials told NBC News there is no indication had Ebola nor is there any danger to the community.”

I would imagine if the poor guy died from ebola, the signs would be very evident.
They do their quarantine together, but not sure where. That would depend on the branch of military?
“Meanwhile, the Army said Monday that it is implementing a 21-day isolation requirement for all soldiers returning from West Africa. The policy’s first impact was on about dozen GIs who arrived over the weekend at a U.S. military installation in Vicenza, Italy, including commander of Army forces in Africa, Maj. Gen. Darryl Williams.”
Your question marks cause me to pause, I am resisting the temptation to speculate until further reports, if there are any.
