Maybe he said “iniquity.” Would be accurate.
The coming contest should actually be between either Baylor or TCU against Oregon. The inclusion of Ohio State was totally apolitical decision made for the ‘first’ playoff year. Ohio State is very lucky to be in this last game. If Oregon had a Lane Kiffin calling the offense, Ohio State would end up champions ... but Alabama is cursed with Kiffin, so Oregon will stomp Ohio State.
I didn't see it but I'll comment since I always comment without reading the articles.
I don't think it's a political statement.
"Mr. President, you are the first President in the history of this Republic who has sequestered virtually every document from your past, making it impossible to fully vet you. Why did you do that?"
I'd even put the game on pause if I thought I'd hear a straight answer. Too bad they can say crap like what we heard but lack the stones to ask a real question in hopes of hearing a real answer.
Considering the buildup and the entrance on to the field, that was the most underwhelming performance of the National Anthem I have heard. Respectful but low-key.
ESPN is a commie outfit. Proof? They fired Rush Limbaugh and constantly mocked Tim Tebow.
Ok - despite like 4 turnovers - that was a stomping of the ducks by OSU and I’m not a fan - rooted for them as they’re big ten and I’m a midwest guy, but I’m a Hoosier.
Looking back at all the bowels and the playoffs and everything I think the only one of the top 4 that really was overrated was FSU - that should have been TCUs spot. Outside of that - I think they underrated OSU and overrated Oregon and FSU. FSU by far.
Either way - OSU is the Champion after winning the Big Ten and 2 playoff games in a stomping with a 3rd string quarterback. If that isn’t a great sports story I don’t know what is.
