Republicans will get walloped in 2016 if they do not deliver on campaign promises, such as working to scrap the controversial national health care law and blocking President Barack Obamas immigration proposals, Sen. Ted Cruz said Monday.
The freshman Texas lawmaker said fellow Republican candidates promised during last years elections to scrap the health care law, which they call Obamacare, and to deny Obamas executive actions, which they call amnesty. Cruz, a tea party favorite considering a White House campaign in 2016, said voters will punish Republicans in two years unless lawmakers have something to show for their new majority in the Senate and expanded majority in the House. He suggested a voting record against the policies could help win support in 2016.
Not only will we not win elections, we will get walloped, Cruz said. And we will deserve to get walloped.

Now Alinsky Press uses the phrase “which they call”. Keep trying; keep failing.
Ted, the GOP is against you...and us.
I agree with him.
The GOP already got walloped, they just don’t get it yet.
If Cruz is right and he probably is, he may find himself all alone pushing these issues.
PERFECT POSITIONING!
There, fixed it.
Patriots need to stay the course on raising voter awareness of the federal governments constitutionally limited power before the next election. Hopefully well see new faces in a Constitution-respecting, majority-controlled Congress.
AND thats IF voting is honest one vote one person... (( “WOLLOPED”.. ))
even worse when you consider massive VOTER FRAUD...
Illegal aliens voting multiple times... and places..
and the “normal” voting machine “ VIRUS’S “...
AND 125% to 150% of the vote turning out in many places...
AND THATS JUST IN THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARY.........
Ted Cruz is right again!
I am absolutely livid over the fact that they don’t ant to pass a full repeal of Obamacare and send it to the president’s desk!
They, every one of them, promised us they would do that if we gave them the senate and the MUST do it or they will get hammered!
Probably true, but it might be smart to wait a year or so for 2 reasons: (a) to let its full unpleasant aspects become clearer to the general population, (b) to help get the Dems panicking about their closer re-election problem, and more likely to vote with the R’s.
obozocare is not going anywhere under this congress because too many in the congress are making bank on their investments in companies associated with obozocare and most US politicians always put their own interests above the people. That is the reason plugs Biden remarked at the signing of the law “this is a big effing deal”
As usual, Ted Cruz is the smartest man in the room.
Cruz or lose!!
Fixed it.
More importantly, the GOP will get clobbered if they run A Bush, Romney, Christy, Santorum, Huntsman or any other East coast RINO liberal, which they seem to have an endless supply of. And I assure you, that is exactly what will happen, guaranteed- Take it to the bank.
No he is correct, the GOP and the Republicans will get walloped.
We need to call a spade a spade.
The GOP can counter this argument by just pushing forward a candidate that neutralizes the health care issue. Someone like Romeny, then health care won’t even be part of the campaign!
Worked great the last time...
I stand with Ted
Yes it is. Apparently there’s some sort of mental illness that prevents most republicans from taking a serious political stand against Obamacare.
Whatever the illness is, Cruz doesn’t have it.
