White House admits: We screwed up not sending higher-ranking officials to Paris

The White House admitted Monday that more prominent U.S. officials should have been in Paris on Sunday for a historic unity march.

“I think it’s fair to say we should have sent someone with a higher profile to be there,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters on Monday.

The U.S. was represented at the march — held to honor the victims of last week’s string of terror attacks in France and to demonstrate unity and freedom of expression in the face of terrorism — by U.S. Ambassador to France Jane Hartley. Attorney General Eric Holder was in Paris but not did attend the march.

Other world leaders, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, took part in the event.

Being press secretary for the evil narcissist has to be one of the toughest jobs in the world. No wonder Earnest’s predecessors burned out so quickly. It’s hard to lie and spin with a straight face.

Reminds me of the apology letters the NFL sends out Monday for bad calls the day before.

Another OOPS, Oh Well.....
They’re tone-deaf & incompetent and just don’t care.
Remember at the beginning of his presidency when they flew planes over Manhattan to take photos (without telling anyone) and put people in a panic?

It wouldn’t jive with their high priority of “Muslim outreach”. Obama, in his heart of hearts, agreed with act of terrorism against Charlie Hebdo.

That photo is more correct than we know. It’s better that he wasn’t there making a jackass out of himself. Grinning, waving, and taking selfies. He’s a national embarrassment.

Foggy bottom notices that other nations all have ambassadors in France, yet thought it was still important enough to send leaders. Not campaign contributors who bought an ambassador seat.

“The White Hut didn’t have some Muzzie Broz to send over?”

Holder was already there. That’s why the excuse oven by the White House is a crock of crapola.

But in any case. I’m glad he wasn’t there. He’s a total embarrassment everywhere he goes. I bet he would have gone if it was a gay magazine that got shot up. And I’m serious.

He said that he would, should things go wrong, stand with the Muslims and that’s what he’s doing.
He said that there are consequences for insulting the prophet so he is “satisfied” with the “justice” behind the slayings.
He’s not really our president, he’s the Muslim ambassador to the US and he represents their interests.

“could care less”

I think that the phrase for which you were looking is that Obama *couldn’t* care less; if Obama *could* care less, then he did care about the march.
