Yes and the insanity of it is that using the term Islamophobia shows how ignorant and disconnected they really are. There is no irrational or unreasonable fear of Islam. There is disgust, anger and hatred of both Islam and it’s appeasers. So why don’t they say what they really mean, they are marching against people who hate the intolerance and violence of Islam and want it to both to stop as well as cease to exist. Which means that they, the marching Islamophiles must love, things such as Islamic intolerance and Islamic violence against the west as well as other muslims.

The French didn’t grant automatic citizenship to natives of former colonies after decolonization. The British did sort of, they granted the right to British passport to natives. The French didn’t and certainly didn’t to the Algerians after the bitter war they fought for independence.
The immigration from North Africa has been a result of the need for workers; they’ve allowed them in to work on work permits. Then of course, it all spun out of control.
