An accountant at a New York ad firm leaped to his death because he was hallucinating that the mannequins at his Manhattan office were chasing him, it was claimed today. David Caquais, 43, opened at window at Catch NY on the fourth floor of a building in Manhattan's Garment District and jumped out about 9pm on January 2. The New York Post reports that Mr Caquais screamed 'They're after me! They're after me!' as he ran around his office and attempted to kick out windows.

That is true also of Win7, but usually comes up in the UAC box that asks 'are you really sure you want this thing to make changes to your confuser' dialog box. You get a 'yes' and a 'run as admin' option. Some things will not install unless run as admin even if your profile is set as admin..
Not sure if this holds true on WinhAte or not (the User Account Control box thing).
I haven’t seen it on WinHate.

Larger yellow eyes and less orange, and this would be Sparkle, who remains, sadly, camera shy.
Hey wait a minute...
Does that mean they might come get me, too?
OK, so some general questions.
Do you have any new anti-virus or anti-malware software that wasn’t there before? If yes, can you get the one you previously had re-installed? (I use Windows Essentials. It’s free and gets good reports.)
Can you download and install software like Open Office normally?
Is there any other new software on the machine that wasn’t there before? Can you uninstall it?
Do you have a program like CCleaner to clean out your registry?
That’s enough homework for now.
Remember, just because your paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.
Evening! Hope you didn’t eat all the cookies ;-).
I survived carpentry with the Cub Scouts again. Fortunately I had experienced help: I did most of the measuring, and the dads did the sawing and drilling. Then I ran the vacuum.
I could have run the drill, but not as fast, and we needed to get it all done in less than an hour.
Er...
Uh...
What?
Shouldn’t need to bypass the firewall to install. Local admin account should be all that requires.
As far as for Dragon itself connecting back to their servers to decode voice into text,

That should get you where you need to go.
*hugs*
You rang?
Why yes..
Yes I did.
And I see you have provided an opinion.
If you are in the subset of 'Those Who Know Something About WinAte' I might ring again for similar reasons..
Otherwise it'll just be to see if you're still there or have succumbed to a cup of suspiciously gurgling coffee. ;-)
Yep. WinDoze, Li-nux, and Apfel from about ver 8 up to Yosemite Sam’s Lament.
Net Admin for a school District, so I’m used to dealing with blind calls, educated guesses, “click on the thingy next to the other thingie”, etc...
My coffee is black and dead as a politicians ethics thankyouverymuch. :-)
A "politicians ethics", that's that bird-looking thing hanging around the guy's neck, with Xs for eyes, right?
Dos Equis?
Sort of like Darksheare's except his gurgles and burps suspiciously..
I don’t think that one is dead yet.
But it’s got the X’s...
Has to be empty to be dead.
Duck hunting season already?
The answer is..
YES!
