An accountant at a New York ad firm leaped to his death because he was hallucinating that the mannequins at his Manhattan office were chasing him, it was claimed today. David Caquais, 43, opened at window at Catch NY on the fourth floor of a building in Manhattan's Garment District and jumped out about 9pm on January 2. The New York Post reports that Mr Caquais screamed 'They're after me! They're after me!' as he ran around his office and attempted to kick out windows.

I think it’s happening only the UT, which suggests it’s related to the length of the thread.

Maybe.
I did good today on WW. I still have 9 points I can use, but I don’t think I will. I didn’t even weight myself the last two weeks, as I was afraid that I was going to put on so much weight I would get depressed, and I just didn’t think I wanted to deal with that.
So I will weigh next week.

(Gives you something to occupy your time when bored - go back and dig out marginal thoughts. ;-) I've been doing a lot of that lately, but I'm not getting any better at it.

you hit Post Reply, and instead of giving you the reply screen, it take you back to the beginning of the thread?Had that happen maybe a weekorso ago after Firefox did an update but I hadn't restarted it yet. Restarting FF fixed it.
Unless it was the NSA and restarting FF alerted them that I was catching on and they went away.. ;-)

And yes, it was only on the UT. So it could be the length of the thread, or the NSA... ;-)

The NSA is just a few miles away from me. They overlook my little faux pas.

Isn’t there some Fed Spookshop in Alexandria, VA?
Someone from there keeps checking out my profile page.. (along with visits from other interesting locals scattered about the country that seem to have no divulgeable name..)

NSA stands for Never Say Anything.
I had a friend who worked there. When I called to speak to him, they answered the extension with the number of the extension.
They always treated me as though I belonged on the “group W bench”.
Actually, I liked it.
But all I know about them is that they had a big building to work in. I fixed some things for them, and then they made sure I left.

and then they made sure I left.Very much like Picatinny Arsenal in the time post 9/11.
Of course, now anybody can, and does, wander in there. Including ChiCom military peoples..

Palindromes are only half-clever. The rest is just repetition.

"I have come to the conclusion that I hate snow." My wife loves it. I guess it's different when you look at it through a window.

I was listening to my Sirius radio, I think the 70s station, when "Which Way You Going Billy" by the Poppy Family came on.
I forgot all about that song. That was one of those ethereal pop songs that grab the airwaves for a month or two and then you never hear it again.
There's a video on the YouTube with this song being performed and if you look closely, the male member of the due will look familiar to some.
This is none other than Terry Jacks, the guy who had that big mid-70s hit with "Seasons In The Sun."

Kittens make everything better.
I have cleaned a lot of things and washed dishes and held a choir practice. I think I’ll vacuum the living room next, while it’s not littered with people and their stuffed animals.

I fed and watered the critter and made a cake, the most of which I will donate to the community room. Baking makes me feel better, but I just can’t allow myself to eat the whole thing.
My feet have been bothering me, so while the cake is baking, I’m going to lie down.
It’s a good thing they ache because otherwise, I would have been tempted to try and drive. NOT!

"That was one of those ethereal pop songs that grab the airwaves for a month or two and then you never hear it again." I appreciate your use of the word "ethereal". It is one of my newly favored words as of last year, along with such words as "outlandish".
I just thought I'd mention that. Welcome aboard.
