After 25 Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives embarrassed Speaker John Boehner by voting against his re-election bid, the newly re-elected Boehner has begun to exact his revenge on those that opposed him.
According to a Politico source, conservative House members Daniel Webster and Rich Nugent, both from Florida, will lose their spots on the highly coveted House Rules Committee.

Norm to Boehner: “ Et tu, Plastered? “
He only became a traitor because he was such a squish. No courage, a cowardly lion.
And now the rest of the GOP is playing pussy cat.
Isn’t that enough to make you meow?
Hey, which of you can pee the farthest?!
I think he has too much blood in his alcohol.
Not me because I’m not going down that road with him today.
Someone like that deserves to be shamed. Is this the only vote that can “set him in a corner with a dunce cap”?
Boehner acts like any dictator would.
Ready when you are ready tomorrow, squish.
There is generally a quid for the pro quo.
JimRob has it right. Boner is not a squish, he is a TRAITOR. He is fully aware of who his masters are, and they demand amnesty, and Obamacare. Why? An endless supply of cheap labor, and permanently drive down the overall cost of labor. They want Obamacare, so they can eventually dump the entire cost of healthcare on to the the middle class taxpayer. Anyone who disagrees with this is just plain obtuse.
He needs to be Harry Reid-ed.
Deserve’s got nothing to do with it. He won and to the victor goes the spoils. If he flagships and issue they could do another coupe there, but smart Speakers don’t flagship for exactly that reason. This is power politics, it’s a game, with well defined rules, and like him or not Boehner is very good at playing it. And he just won a significant victory. There’s a strong symbolic message in pulling people out of the rules committee.
Yup. Boehners no squish. Hes an outright traitor.
I agree!
He’s right. A squish does not ascend to power. Liars do. Tyrants do. Good man do. Squishes don’t.
And once in power, they simply don’t care what little people think and why should they? They conned enough idiots to put them in power so obviously you have to assume such people will be content to ‘speak truth to power’ Harumph a couple times at their contribution to the national conversation and burn their anger out.
Meanwhile the supposed squish is still in power and very unsquishily grabbing more by the hour.
The only group he will stand up against. Amazing.
” Meanwhile the supposed squish is still in power and very unsquishily grabbing more by the hour.”
Along with the conservative-hating turtle in the senate. L’etat, c’est moi!
Hell even outright cowards ascend to power, which Bhoner is. He just isn’t afraid of ‘us’ for the reasons you said.

I thought that was the reason for this last election to stop the establishment in dc? To stop this stupid game playing and give the power back to we the people? It is these games that must be stopped. This is why working to take over the party will not work. It looks like 3rd party or nothing.
