And if you decline the generous offer by the VA? If you can, NEVER tell any medical office your feeling a little down. Even if you favorite pet just died and you're bummed out, keep it out of the doctors office. Insidious, creeping control.

So a Constitutional Right is a health care issue?
Hey VA, kiss my white phosphorescent butt!

I haven’t used a gun lock since that boating accident I had many years ago while transporting all my guns to the other side of the Hudson river.

Which study, pray tell, has shown that gun locks greatly reduce shootings? (Anyone?)

When the burglar breaks in to your house, just tell him to please wait while you UNLOCK your gun.

Connecting the dots - Obamacare will be used for gun confiscation.

Remember also that because of a recent executive order, 35 government agencies now have unlimited, unrestricted access to your medical records.
http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/feds-plan-35-agencies-help-collect-share-use-electronic-health-info_821037.html
(list of agencies on page includes the VA, which will share veterans medical records with very leftist-agenda oriented federal agencies. So bottom line, the only way to have privacy is not to give that information to your doctor, or any other information in public that could be assembled to discover things about you the government should not know.)

LOL! “They” make those claims all the time and we are supposed to accept the plain old vanilla statement as fact and not question it. “Back in line peon. We’ll tell you what to believe and when to believe it.”

Pass, also this smells like a sneaky way to root up guns that don't have a paper trail, etc...

Homosexuality is more dangerous to health, if health really was the concern. But it’s not. Guns are not a health issue. It’s a control issue.

Gun locks mean the home invasion guys win because I can’t get a weapon out in time. Same for a safe (tho they are good for collectors).

They may send you a gun lock, but your name has been put on a list that will be added to the NCIS one day. That designation will be a medical disqualifier for buying a new gun.

If you apply for free firearm locks, you are telling the Obummer Regime you have firearms. Besides, as a waste of VA funds, you would be depriving someone of needed VA services.
