Amusing considering that Gowdy seconded Boehner’s nomination at the party conference and says if he had been there today (weather canceled his flight) that he would have voted for Boehner.
Levin calls Gowdy a RINO due to an immigration vote he cast in July.
Unity, opponents of Boehner should have looked that word up in the dictionary. If Boehner had fallen short I bet we’d be on the 90th ballot by now.
In other news 4 Republicans broke party lines and voted against adopting the House rules for some reason
Walter Jones (RINO)
Massie (Paulbot RINO)
Yoho (Massie’s Choice for Speaker)
Griffith
And Mulvaney voted present
I wonder what’s up with that. The dems were hardcore complaining about the “dynamic scoring” in the rules.

Heh. For some strange reason, a bunch of conservatives on the internet love Gowdy. I'm reminded of how McCain's former pal JD Hayworth (who campaigned hard for McCain over Bush in 2000) was considered the great conservative hope to take out John McCain.

You could say the same with "opponents of Romney" or "opponents of Lindsay Graham". We've seen this same old delusional tactic before. Hey guys, let's stop this horrible establishment RINO by dividing ourselves into camps for five different minor candidates and everyone vote for whoever they want!! YEAH!! That'll stop the RINO front-runner!!
Time to leave the sinking ship behind.
The House voted on some immigration bill last year? I don't recall a vote.
House GOP plans no immigration vote in 2013( 10/25/13 Politico)
I found this at Huff Post 4/25/2014:
" The House Republicans intend to start this week by introducing one bill to establish a guest worker program for agricultural laborers and another to set up an "e-verify" type program that would track people who enter and leave the United States. Goodlatte and Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) announced their plan even as the two lead senators (Schumer and McCain) in the immigration reform effort told reporters that piecemeal will not work
But I don't think they ever got to a vote.
Ya gotta be lovin life when Schumer, McCain and Levin all join together to diss your plan.
