The man accused of a gas station beating two years ago is expected in court on Monday.
Donald Dickerson is facing battery charges after he allegedly beat up a family when they stopped to get gas on Plank Road in May of 2013.
Police arrested Dickerson and ticketed two others. They are all accused of punching the family.
Dickerson allegedly told the family they were in the "wrong neighborhood" before the attack. According to police, one of the victim suffered a broken eye socket, broken nose, and several lacerations to the face.

Nice guy...
Meet them everywhere.
Which this would have happened in Saint Slammany.
“Gee Officer, I am really surprised that you asked why I felt I needed to carry a loaded pistol in YOUR jurisdiction.
Yes sir, you are here now 1/2 hour after I had gestured I was about to pull my weapon while getting gas. I am really surprised that someone had the nerve to call you and alert you to the fact that I have a gun on my person. I don’t suppose you would want me to ID the person that attempted to stop me from spending money in YOUR jurisdiction”.
Two years?
Two years?
“The wheels of justice grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine” ;)
People really need to learn some form of self-defense. Anything.
Did you expect any? I wonder if white lives matter?
That is totally useless against a mob consisting of two-legged animals.
Situational awareness and planning ahead is infinitely more useful.
Traveling from New York City to Washington DC the first and only time in 1993, I had planned to get off the main highway and visit Philadelphia's historical places. After taking a random exit and traveling less than half a mile I realized that I had not planned ahead. I had failed to identify the known deadly parts of the city. Not the sort of useful information the Visitors Bureau freely divulges.
An illegal U-turn on a major street resolved the consequences of my inattention to detail, but a valuable lesson learned. Philadelphia, for me, will remain permanently unexplored territory.
That’s the second broken eye socket I’ve read about in a month. Can’t remember who the first one was.
Whaaa? That guy? He looks like a middle school band
teacher!
So there is now a traffic ticket category for “punching at a gas station.”
Who knew.
Hey man, you wanna buy a watch? You had a watch you'd know it's night time and night time ain't no time to be around this here neighbourhood, so how 'bout a watch?
Darren Wilson?
Well, the white guy *was* wearing a pink shirt.
These [laces that bury their crime stats put a lot of lives at risk by doing so; people unfamiliar with the area can easily end up in the “wrong neighborhood”.
These places need to have road signs like those in “Mad Max”, indicating you are leaving the “civilized zone”...
“I dont suppose you would want me to ID the person that attempted to stop me from spending money in YOUR jurisdiction.”...
He’s the dead one laying over there with the extra hole in his head.
The charge must’ve been boxing without a license.

They do. Usually named “Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd”. Anything on or beyond that street is worth a u-turn.
