What is this with 29 votes? If Pelosi’s caucus votes for Boehner it’s over. And she would do that because it screws the TEA party and aligns the Democrats and GOPe as a bipartisan group.
Best that could happen would be for 130 Republicans to vote against Boenher, so even if he wins, he won’t have the Republican votes to push forward legislation.
In that event, he will have to resign.

So it only takes 29 Republicans to get to the second round and that's where they can pick up enough to dump Boehner. The momentum will be against Boehner at that point in the elections.
