He is definitely a solid representative. I had hoped that he would run for Senate in 2014 but he opted to run for reelection to the House. He may be another one willing to throw his name out as a potential candidate. Like Louie Gohmert, Bridenstine would also be an outstanding Speaker (or part of Leadership).

It appears that a lot of FReepers are not familiar with how the Speaker is elected. If Boehner doesn’t receive a MAJORITY of the votes cast for a candidate on the first round of voting, it will go to however many additional rounds will be needed until someone gets a majority of the votes. If it goes additional round(s), you can bet that the votes that went for Boehner in Round one will begin to peel away. So the goal is to keep him from winning on the first round -— then Katie, bar the door.

Unfortunately, my Congress Critter is Kuster from New Hampshire. She is a foul-mouthed Commie, who was put into by the wacko liberals from around Keene, Peterborough and the like. They continue to ride along on the backs of those of us, bustin' hump to make a living, while they dream of their socialist utopia.

They are the worthless cancer on an otherwise pretty nice state.

But, I went onto Boner's web site and told him that if he values his country, he should remove himself from candidacy for Speaker. He won't, however. He, like all the other RATS, value power above all else.
