Oh geez. Not a good thing.
I have a dream.
Cruz is a Southern Baptist.
Fox News uses him to defeat conservative presidential candidates. In between elections, they keep him employed.
2012 All Over Again.
Rove is lining up the fake conservatives whose only role is to prevent
a true conservative from winning.

Now it wants to be sure that clout extends to the choice of the GOPs 2016 presidential nominee. Officials in five Southern states Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas are coordinating to hold their primary on March 1, 2016. Texas and Florida are considering also holding a primary the same day but may wait until later in the month. Either way, March 1 would be a Southern Super Tuesday, voting en masse on the heels of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada. |
He looks great in that chair Vet!
Deadline hollyweird forum is claim dude going to run in 2016 this just everybody know secret
Actually, The Huckster will be one of many GOPe’s stalking horses.
No, no, no, no, no.
Do I need to say it again?
Huck has a chance. But then, everyone is running for the RINOpublican nod.
Independent candidates haven’t begun announcing yet, but I believe we will see a serious run by at least one and maybe two. I think it will be a wild election season.
Essentially he was the runner up in 2008, he and Romney. Romney had his second shot, and took the brass ring. I'm sure Huck thinks he can win it, too, this time.
I think a lot of folks here are mistaken in believing that he's being paid to run. He seems to have the requisite over-sized ego to think he can win, nothing more sinister than ambition.
Looking back at 2008: the four candidates who actually won primaries were McCain, Romney, Huckster and Ron Paul. If you were a conservative voting in the later primaries (when some of the minor candidates like Tom Tancredo had already dropped out) who would you vote for?
To me, this explains a lot about why McCain won. And it does not bode well for Huckster in 2016, as there will be plausible conservative candidates for voters to choose instead of him, not just two RINOs.
Slight correction: Ron Paul won delegates, not States, and was not really plausible, though he stayed in till the bitter end. So he was available for Conservatives to vote for, but probably not attractive to many Conservative voters due to his unorthodox views on many topics.
Ok, here it is my unabashed description of the 2016 field..
* Mike Huckabee: Bill Clinton with a Banjo
* Chris Cristie: Bobby Bacala should not run for POTUS
* Rick Santorum: Would make a great producer for EWTN
* Jeb Bush: No more, Please.
* Ben Carson: The Huckabee of 08' for 2016
* Newt: OJNTSA ( yes the photo of they guy with his hand on his head )
* Mitt Romney: They don't sell Isuzu's here anymore Joe
* Ted Cruz: Senate Majority Leader, those words are music to my ears.
* Rand Paul: A Deadhead for POTUS?
* Marco Rubio: I could have been a contenda...
That leaves: Scott Walker, Rick Perry, Mike Pence, John Kasich, and maybe even Rick Snyder.
Pence / Walker, Walker / Pence and or Martinez would work for me.
We have to build a Conservative for Palin type ground game for our top dog soon, the E-GOP / Enemedia will be trying to kabash any Reaganite we have to check them into the boards before they get to the puck so to speak...
I saw it on Facebook.
As my 4th grade teacher, Brian Forik, said to every class he had ever taught in his career, "Failing to prepare, is preparing to fail".
Why? Does he have some fantasy of being President?
Thanks, I was unaware of that. Unusual for Cuban-American. Here's an article I found with the backstory.
I sure hope so. Some conservative states need to have a say in the nominee too.
Thanks! It is horribly cynical, but it the truth. We have a plethora of small dogs that need to sit on the porch and stop barking, the Republic is in Crisis and Men of strong metal are needed...
