Occupy may be gone, but it is clearly not forgotten. The people protesting Eric Garner’s death in New York City were marching to a slightly different drum beat in 2011, but they seem to have returned, having learned something from their previous mistakes.

The whole war on cops, or race wars is a scam. The people who actually make much from it are the baiters at the top, or Sharpton, Holder, Obama, etc. Everyone else is pretty much suckered into spending resources into it. I doubt many, if any of those in protest ever had to live under Jim Crow, or under the days where the Klan was so powerful that a man could openly boast about killing black people to a cheering crowd, instead, plenty of people want to live and be infuriated like being on drugs, not much purpose, and not much productive, but hey, there’s a crowd of people who want to make somebody pay because maybe there’s a grandpa, great grandpa, etc., who owes me something. This reasoning is exactly what Jesus warned about when it came to holding grudges, this is also, not coincidentially, about the same reasoning people had in the spite to authorize Jim Crow in the first place.
For perhaps one minute, let’s think about this, there is close to no person who would have no reason to feel some beef or some reason to grind an axe with someone or some group of people in the United States. Some Chinese-American, by the same reasoning as the race-baiters, would feel fine with lashing out at the white guys because hey, you treated those railroad and mining workers from China like dirt back in the 1800s, or hey, you treated the Irish guys like garbage in the same time. Or even more, me being bitter about some of what my father said years ago. Move on.

FWIW, I am not going to endorse Ben Carson for president if he does run, but it at least sounds interesting as if his mother from his biography, warned him about not holding grudges, and moving on.

It’s as if our nation has become a nation of suckers for bigger, nefarious, and not decent agendas, and it’s pretty tragic how much self-destruction people have to do, not to mention probably hurt their children and others in their families by it, by not acting like Christians.

Just my two cents and a rant.

The racism rant still has some steam because Jim Crow was later than the Chinese and Irish railroad workers. As that generation dies, there will be nobody left that ever saw a “colored” bathroom or ate behind a restaurant due to their color.

Hollywood is trying to prolong the inevitable with an annual “negro victim” movie, but as more and more of our population is imported they will have less and less impact, only serving to keep blacks angry and resigned (rather than stoking “white guilt”).

Black thugs who attack cops... their lives matter.

Black citizens who get murdered by black thugs... their lives don’t mean squat.

Good read... but it doesn’t answer my question. When will cops start using the riot guns my taxes paid for to clear the streets of these vermin?

Recent problems indicate they won’t; in my area (northern NJ), the cops tend to let social Darwinism rule the welfare hatcheries (like in “Escape from New York”) while working instead on containment - preventing the issue from spreading beyond the ghettos.

You are right. The lack of forgiveness is poisonous to the mind, body and spirit on an individual and on a tribal level, to a whole group of people. It’s one of the greatest gifts of healing and salvation Christianity has given to the world and it is one of the most misunderstood.

The black race in America will never progress beyond self destruction and hatred until its members and our society as a whole, let go of the injustice of the past. White liberals need to forgive the injustices as well because their guilt and shame feeds the demise of the black race with the poison of guilt, grudges and hate.

There is power in tribalism’s united resentment and hate in the voting booth; but it is the mission of a suicide bomber to the body and soul.

If you set out on a quest for revenge and tie your identity to a slave, you will not realize your real talents and inner peace or who God made you to be. It is child abuse to pass this inner prison of hate and grudge onto children.

More likely they will use them on those who suggest they be used on the vermin - talking bad is so much worse a crime than doing bad is...God help us.
