Tampa, Fla. Barry Alvarez, Wisconsin's full-time athletic director and two-time interim head coach, passed the baton to new head coach Paul Chryst in style Thursday.
UW entered the 2015 Outback Bowl a 61/2-point underdog against Southeastern Conference power Auburn.
Yet the Badgers erased the memories of an ugly 59-point loss in the Big Ten title game thanks to another remarkable performance from Melvin Gordon, a tying field goal in the final minute of regulation and the winner in overtime by freshman kicker Rafael Gaglianone, and finally a huge defensive stand.

As much as I like Auburn, so neat to see cutie J. J. Watt on the sidelines, cheering on his bros and alma mater...great guy!

Anyone would have beat FSU, they had no business even being in the top four.
And now that Ohio State is destroying Alabama it's proving decisively that the SEC is the most over rated conference which had no business having ANY teams in the top four.

I feel that way as well, and although I am a Buckeye fan, and believe they will ultimately lose tonight, I applaud my team for their effort even thought they are behind the 8-ball with a very raw QB and a porous defense that desperately needs a new DC, along with a questionable OC calling absurd plays at the outset of this game.
In any case, I am proud of the effort my team has put forth against arguably the #1 team at this point in the season.

Don’t count ‘Bama out yet, but, you are right that the SEC is way over-rated..

Might as well hand the trophy to Oregon now, no way they are losing either to Ohio State or Alabama.

OSU needs to recruit more from Wichita County because their bench needs it.

Yeah, they had one bad day this season. So what.
Go Buckeyes!

Alabama came from behind to beat Auburn. Wisconsin beat Auburn. Ohio State stomped Wisconsin. They should be able to be Alabama.

Some one, remind me about the always tough SEC defenses. Auburn? Alabama? Texas A&M? Ole Miss? Mississippi State? At least their opponents didn’t score a hundred.
These defenses were a joke and an ESPN Network fraud invented to explain the low scoring games last year when they played EACH OTHER! Over Rated ! !

Not a problem, I just then grasped the reason.
