As far as "best of 2014" lists go, the CIA has a pretty irresistible one: On Dec. 22 it started tweeting links to the 10 most popular articles of the year that it shared on Twitter, and the agency arrived at No. 1 yesterday, tweeting: "Reports of unusual activity in the skies in the '50s? It was us." The accompanying link directs readers to The CIA and the U-2 Program, 1954-1974, a 272-page document from 1998 the CIA tweeted a link to in early July, reported KAKE at the time.
The upshot of the report is that the CIA was the culprit behind more than half of the UFO sightings logged in the 1950s and 1960s.
As VentureBeat reports, the CIA tested its U-2 spy planes at 60,000 feet, an altitude that seemed impossible for man to reach at the time—leading observers, specifically pilots, to suspect it wasn't man up there at all.
VentureBeat highlights a portion of the report that explains that in the mid-1950s, most commercial airliners stuck below 20,000 feet; military aircraft kept it below 40,000 feet.

Well, yes. I mean, I tried to tell you guys 10,000 years ago "F'Petessake don't wipe out the Neanderthals" but Zoltar was all "they're nothing but a bunch of knuckle-dragging Neanderthals," which was true but beside the point and so after he stole beer, the light bulb, and the Infield Fly Rule from them, zappo! "Let's build a bunch of stone structures with little points on them," he sez one night, obviously into that Neanderthal brew, "it'll drive our descendants nuts! Oh," and he's giggling, "lets stack up some rocks in some godforsaken wilderness in England and blame the Picts." He had a heckuva sense of humor, ol' Zoltar, but when he crashed the saucer into Mount Etna trying to buzz a flock of wild sheep the rest of us were marooned here. At least until Dennis Kucinich came along.

I have no doubt htat there is life elsewhere in the universe. I still question if it has come in saucers to visit us.
The Voyager spacecraft launched in the 70’s would take almost 100,000 years to get to Alpha Centari, the next closest star to the Sun if it had been sent there.
And so if some alien life form had figured out how to get around the time problem, the gamma radiation, problem, the de-calcification of bones problem, the atrophying muscle problem not to mention food, fuel, and life support issues, would they do all of that and end up crashing into a windmill in Aurora Texas or Roswell New Mexico?
True believers will not be swayed.

OK, So, I just watched some moron trying to figure out how to fill up her gas tank. It took her 4 tries.
I’m not saying that the “superior intellect” wouldn’t exist among those that built the spacecraft, but there is no assurance that those that are traveling would be superior.
There was a time when the first automobiles hit the road and it took you and a mechanic to operate the thing.
Today, virtually all large commercial aircraft can be flown without a pilot for most of their flight.
Just a thought.
First of all, I don’t believe a word the government tells us.
Second, why would they admit this now? If it was them in the 50s, what was it in the 60s and 70s and 80s and 90s etc?
You still use gas and not hydrogen, silly humans...
