” would they do all of that and end up crashing into a windmill in Aurora Texas or Roswell New Mexico?”
We went to Mars and crashed because of some math problem in the landing computer.

(This paper was originally published in the proceedings of the 1976 ufo conference of the center for ufo studies. This version has been modified slightly in april 2000 for this Publication. This is the first of two technical and historical papers on The trent photo case that were presented to and published by The center for ufo studies (cufos), which is located in Chicago, Illinois. On the possibility that the McMinnville photos show a distant unidentified object (UO)
During the Air Force funded investigation of UFO reports at the University of Colorado in 1967-1968 (the “Condon Report”), photoanalyst William Hartmann studied in detail photographic and verbal evidence presented by two former residents of McMinnville, Oregon, Paul and Evelyn Trent. He concluded, mainly on the basis of a simplified photometric analysis, that “all factors investigated, geometrical, psychological and physical, appear to be consistent with the assertion that an extraordinary flying object, silvery, metallic, disk shaped, tens of meters in diameter and evidently artificial, flew within sight of two witnesses.” An important part of his analysis included calculations of the expected brightness of the image of the bottom of the Unidentified Object (UO) that appears in the first photo. He pointed out that the elliptical image of the bottom was brighter than expected if the object were close and therefore a small model. The excessive image brightness led him to conclude that the object was at a great distance (over a kilometer), His conclusion was criticized by Philip J. Klass and Rober Sheaffer who argued that veiling glare (caused by surface dirt and imperfections in the lens which scatter light from bright areas of the image into all other areas of the image) could have increased the brightness of the image of the UO, making it appear distant.

When the CIA tells you to believe something, you can count on the opposite being true.
Now that’s funny.
Exactly. This is so idiotic.
In 1908, an alien spacecraft exploded at Tunguska, Russia;
The Roswell alien spacecraft was a rescue mission for the Tunguska crash, but it fell through a wormhole and crashed in the New Mexico desert 39 years later;
A piece of alien technology from the Roswell crash was discovered by a teenager who was working as counter help at Build-a-Burger at the time;
The teenager turned it over to the Nazi scientists of Operation Paperclip (he was placed in a government relocation program in Memphis, TN under the name Elvis Presley, where he promptly blew cover);
The Nazi scientists reverse-engineered the alien technology and developed the Internet, GMO's, fracking and chemtrail technology, which in turn sucks our precious bodily fluids from the atmosphere and provides power for the HAARP array;
The HAARP array destroyed the Twin Towers and the Pentagon on the order of George W. Bush, who personally detonated them from his secret Skull and Bones man-cave beneath the campus of UT-Austin.
There, it all makes sense, Mulder and Scully were right, The Truth Is Out There, man!
10 years ago. It was somewhere between 8:30pm-9pm. I was sitting in my bedroom watching a DVD of the movie Sling Blade. My bedroom has two windows. One facing south. The other facing east. I was sitting beside the window facing south. Both of my windows are wide open because I had no air conditioning at the time.
If you look outside my south window, you will see the roof of the house next door, beyond that are the treetops, and naturally the sky.
It was a cloudy evening which blocked out the stars and the moon (assuming there was a moon out that night). During the movie I just happened to glance out the window when all of the sudden from behind the treetops a diamond shaped craft came flying in a north-northeast direction...towards me and my house. This craft was lit up with an orange glow around the edges and a bright white in the middle.
It moved at an incredible speed without making a sound. Not one sound was made by it. It took no more than a couple of seconds to come out from beyond the treetops, across the sky underneath the clouds, to over the roof of my house and out of my sight.
I’ve seen airplanes AND helicopters fly at various altitudes over my neighborhood and none of them moved anywhere near as fast as the UFO did, much less without making a sound (with the exception of a few airplanes that flew at a high enough altitude to be out of earshot as a result). Nor in the entire time I’ve lived here, do I ever recollect ANY aircraft coming from that direction, from over those treetops down south. There are no airports, no landing strips, no chopper pads south of me. Just the usual houses, malls, and the atlantic ocean.
Thank you.
That darned German bell again.
I was at Oak Island this past fall, up at 5 am, having coffee, waiting for the sun to rise, just looking at the stars and witnessed ufo activity. Nothing scary, but what I saw was similar to what I had seen on some of the space shuttle videos. There were about 5 of them that I saw in 10 minutes.
My wife and I saw one on our honeymoon in ‘04. We were traveling across the high desert in SW Wyoming. It was in the middle of the afternoon, in broad daylight. I will preface this with the fact that I have been a pilot for over 35 years I can tell, for incidence, the difference between an F-15 and an F-16 at 3 miles. I also hold a Masters in Electrical Engineering and a BS in Aeronautical Engineering. Needless to say, I’m pretty familiar with technology and aircraft.
What we saw looked like a hot air balloon that had been compressed vertically, iow, a thick, saucer like shape with blunt edges and lights on a cylindrical structure on the bottom. It was moving right to left across a small valley at about 500’ agl at what I would estimate was about 300 knots (jet speed). We were on a small rise and I saw the shadow of whatever it was on the ground moving with it plain as day. It made no sound whatsoever. Here’s the really weird part. We were way out in the middle of nowhere. I could have stopped in the middle of the road and not seen another car for hours. We had 3 cameras on the front seat of the truck between us, two still cameras and a video camera. It was about 30 minutes later before either one of us acknowledged that we’d seen anything and another hour before either one of us actually realized what we had seen. Very odd because my wife and I both took hundreds of pictures on that month-long, 10,000 mile trip. I don’t know what it was or where it was from, but if it was ours the gubmint has done one hell of a job keeping the technology a secret.
The aliens stole your formatting!
Amazingly B2-ish.
Actually, it’s the other way around. The B-2 is very “Horton-ish”.....
