Because he speaks the truth. Nothing is more frightening to the workers of iniquity than light.

Simple answer - because Ted Cruz’ message cuts right through the establishment filters and goes straight to the heart of the concerns of the middle class. His message of smaller government, less governmental intrusion and personal responsibility do not require the input of the pundit classes for interpretation or understanding.

Why are so many FREEPERS scared of him and already expressing support for Jeb Bush?

Same reason.

I don’t think he has anything on them but I think they fear what could happen if there were more in DC like him.

I think he threatens the centralized power of DC.

They are mad because he gets the Republicans on record for going along with Obama. Democrats just hate him I guess

Because they are the uniparty for ever larger, socialist, all controlling, government. The GOP is just the nominal more conservative wing of the single party.

The dried up old farts from the GOP country club don’t control Ted Cruz or Sarah Palin and that’s why both of them are hated by those revolting and traitorous old turds.

Because he’s the match that will light the keg of dynamite in the establishment’s cozy arrangement in DC and around the country. He’s the sour apple in the orchard. He’s the one light of hope and truth in a sea of sellouts and bought off losers in that sewer called Washington D.C.

Because, maybe, he isn’t a Progressive politician and he has a kind of Reaganesque appeal to the unwashed masses. The last time the Progs lost the White House, it set them back decades in their drive to destroy the middle class.

By definition, the Washington Establishment consists of STATISTS, where Ted Cruz is a CONSTITUTIONALIST.
A muscular, constitutional warrior would threaten their very existence.
Rock On Ted, Rock On! Woop, Woop!!

No. He probably doesn't have anything on them, which is why they attack Cruz harder than Obama.

No, I do not think that he has anything on any of them. The Republicrats/Demopubs do not like him. There is only one party in the USA these days.

They fear Ted Cruz because they fear LOSING. This applies to both the GOPe and the Dems.

Just think what happens if Ted Cruz runs and wins:

1. The GOPe DOPey THEORY that in Presidential Elections you have to pick a middle of the road candidate (Mitt, John, Bob, Jeb, Chris) to attract the Independent Voter will be dead forever. Or least for a long, long time.

2. The Gravy Train will run out of fuel. At least to some extent. Even Ted Cruz isn’t all powerful. But he will hurt THE SYSTEM for sure.

3. He would cut taxes.

4. The economy would boom.

All of these changes would hurt the political establishment. And it would hurt the GOPe the most. The Dems will always be able to come back at some point with their Marxist Giveaway Strategies.

IMHO - Establishment democrats and republicans don’t want the Good-Old-Boy system changed - they just want to be first in line at the pig trough.

So they dislike anyone who wants to reform the way they do business.

There are a few who fit that description but together the democrats and republicans usually manage to see that reformers don’t ever get the power to actually do any reforming. They either drive them out, buy them out or blackmail them into cooperating.

But the establishment REALLY dislikes anyone (like Cruz) who wants to change the system and might have a chance of actually gaining enough public support to get elected and bust up the Good-Old-Boy system.
