Bah, humbug!
A passenger was tossed off a plane at La Guardia Airport on Tuesday after flipping out because airline workers wished him a merry Christmas.
The man was waiting to board American Airlines Flight 1140 to Dallas when a cheerful gate agent began welcoming everyone with the Yuletide greeting while checking boarding passes.
The grumpy passenger, who appeared to be traveling alone, barked at the woman, You shouldnt say that because not everyone celebrates Christmas. ...

Look, today is officially Christmas, according to all levels of government in this country.
So, if someone wishes you a merry Christmas, they are saying they hope you have a happy and pleasant day today.
It is not an inherently religious statement.
Christian privilege!
Exactly. And I have to admit that I was a little disappointed that the plane wasn’t in the air when I read the headline.
Merry Christmas! And glad he got tossed....
And hopefully he will be banned from entry into Texas, the greatest country in the World.
(Dad always said Air Conditioning brought the Yankee Curse.
It makes Yankees think they can come south and stay. )
No kidding!!! LGA is an EMBARRASSMENT!!! European airports are SPOTLESS and have Fabulous shops and dining and then there’s LGA!! OMG.
If Im not sure, I say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, season greetings.....My Sikh buddy said “You are merely wishing me love and good fortune which I gladly accept.” when I wished him Merry Christmas.
I despise the “Happy Holidays” thing. It’s so RINO. I have wished Merry Christmas to people who look muzzie only to receive a very warm Merry Christmas in return. Indeed, many ofd these muzzies in my area are not muzzie at alll, but Coptic, Assyrians, Syriac, or other Christians from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria etc.
I have said Merry Christmas to almost everyone I have seen this season and I have always gotten Merry Christmas back. I can remember only one “happy holidays” as a reply.
I wish most of them would stay where they come from and live on their socialist utopia , instead of coming here and demanding that the south and Midwest should change to their needs and wants.
A woman I know works at Dennys off I-95 where I live and told me that she had a Yankee couple who lectured her for over 5 minutes not to say Christmas. The woman said she thought about what they said as they were speaking and decided the tip is not worth it and told them that down here we say Merry Christmas.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
A good response would have been “Not everyone is American either”, “So why are you on flying American Airlines?”.
The staff at Newark, the NY airports are full of scumbags who sit around never doing their job and have never heard of the word service.
I avoid all those airports when I go to Europe.
I never understood this type of reaction.
True, not everyone celebrates Christmas, but December 25th is still Christmas.
If one of you intolerant Christians has the audacity to try to bring a bible or cross into Saudi Arabia, they put it in the shredder right in front of you at the airport.
It’s not LaGuardia, it’s LaGarbage
Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t celebrate ANYTHING so even “Happy Holidays” would be offensive to them, if they were of a mind to be offended.
Clearly the only way to not offend anybody is to not say anything. But then, that would offend some too...
If people want to be offended, they will be offended no matter what you do. The very fact that I exist is an offense to a large part of the world which believes that “infidels” should die.
The coverage of this Black punk pulling a gun on a cop and getting shot to death is so stupid. It’s obvious that the media is LOOKING for reasons for people to be offended - stoking the fires of resentment. That incident is a no-brainer, but our media doesn’t even “get” a no-brainer because they WANT to be offended. And you’re never gonna be able to appease people like that.
When people like that don’t get laughed off the face of the earth, a society is in deep trouble.
Who he’s a TEA PARTY fan?
You read my mind. I would put a fiver on it that it was a Muzz.
“He was escorted off the plane as other fliers burst into cheers and applause.”
AMEN!!
