The girlfriend of Antonio Martin says she hasnt been able to sleep since a police officer fatally shot her boyfriend, a black male teenager, at a gas station in Berkeley, Missouri on Tuesday.
Keanna Brown, 19, revisited the site of the killing on Wednesday, where she expressed her grief in an outcry of mourning.
He didnt deserve to die, Brown told The Huffington Post outside the Mobil gas station where Martin was shot. He was so scared, Im telling you, he was so scared. He looked at me like Baby, please jump in between and say something to save me.

Because, you know, a good girlfriend would have jumped in there and taken the bullet.
I shouldve been there to protect him, thats all I wanted, Brown said. That was my baby.
The description of a grown man as a BABY is telling. . .
These mothers and girlfriends are enablers. They intuit that their sons and boyfriends are weak men that they have to “protect”. The women realize their men are trouble waiting to happen.
Their maternal, protective instincts should be applied to infants. Not men and boys growing into men. The best “protection” these women could give is to tell them to MAN UP, get a job, etc.
Their men need decent male role models, but it is only WOMEN who can demand their adherence to proper male behavior.
By not accepting less.
It goes against instinct, logic, and self-respect to get impregnated by a weak man who needs YOU to protect HIM.
Grow up, women! Sheesh!
The serial number of the gun was filed off, that should answer your question. Let alone he had a long rap sheet, mind you as an 18 year old. The thug was bound to die a violent death sooner than later.
Why didn’t he just drop the gun? Is there really anybody on the planet who believes you can point a gun at a cop?
Merry Christmas
He was so scared, Im telling you, he was so scared. He looked at me like Baby, please jump in between and say something to save me.
OK, this statement implies that she was present when he was still alive and unshot.
She said the two were at home when Martin decided to walk to the gas station but, after some time had passed without his return, she grew worried. She walked down to the Mobil, where she found him bleeding on the concrete.
This statement implies that she was not there until after the shooting.
So... just sayin'...something's not right here, and maybe her statements should just be ignored.
I suppose the cop should have shot the gun out of his hand.
No problem....great minds think alike :0)
She is just attempting to raise her status as the soul mate/intended bride of the martyr.
That’s a make or break on getting the franchise for the T-shirt sales. Something like “Baby! Please Save Me!”
It also gets you first in line for the looting.
Merry Christmas
That's what passes for "courage" among cowards.
Funny! Kudos!
Well, uh, actually he did.
To be truthful, I thought it was the perp but wondered why the pink hat.
Ok, OK. Would someone give us regular law-abiding folks a hint at what some people should be able to do with impunity?
Beat someone’s head on concrete. Check.
Rob a store, try to take a cop’s gun, charge at a cop. Check.
Block main streets, bridges, and interstate highways. Check.
Riot and loot for any reason...
She didn’t realize her two statements contradicted each other. She’s lying
Did the perp have his hands up and was he breathing? This woman is a feral fool. Civilization thanks the officer for killing the degenerate. Have a Merry Christmas!
Every compassionate person wants the best for everyone regardless of race. After generations of gov. dependency, broken families as a result, sud standard education system, crime, stoked racial greiviences, it is clear this may be the beginning of feralization of black youths.
Walter Williams wrote an excellent piece how black parents in his time would never, ever tolerate their children behaving as they are today. Today, it's not only tolerated, but promoted.
It's hopeless now for them. And it's very sad that all that their elders fought for and achieved is being squandered
Are they sure he was a BLACK male teenager and not just a teenager?
According to the article, she wasn’t there when he was shot.
