LGBT Community Members Shutdown Hwy 101 In San Francisco Protesting Police Violence

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) — Members of San Francisco’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community are marching Christmas Eve morning and plan to shutdown Highway 101 at Octavia Street in a protest over recent police violence.

Yeah and Critical Mass announces when they are going to clog roadways (and habitually violate traffic laws, block intersections, run traffic lights and stop signs, drink and drive, and attack motor vehicles). Doesn’t make the action legal in the least.

Consider it more a threat like the one made against theaters showing The Interview. The perps are still the ones at fault, not the civilians who ignored (or didn’t hear) the threat.

Just so you know the complete backstory to that photograph you selected:
Driver was found completely intoxicated and driving wrong direction on roadway, he killed two innocents, and injured many more.
Certainly not an appropriate image to make a point for our cause.

It was not snapped at any sort of protest. It was a benefit ride.
Intoxicated driver operated vehicle in wrong direction on roadway, killing two innocent people, and injuring many.
Imagery like that makes FReepers look boorish and living to a stereotype.
