That will take a miracle. Giuliani had NYC to the lowest crime rate ever, and the city was the best under the NYPD it had ever been when he left the office of Mayor. SAD now.
Note to self: Remain out of feral-infected cities.
Schools, media, politician - all teach America is evil and there is no morality. What do we expect?
"The 29-year old woman was shot in the abdomen by Brinsley. Her name has not been released, she is expected to survive."
Good post, good suggestions.
Please accept the following in the spirit of friendly advice.
The excessive use of CAPS is considered shouting by many in online forums, and can be a turnoff to the very audience you’re attempting to reach.
Cheers! B^)
SIDEBAR MONITER:
This thread was not about the ASSASSINATION OF TWO OFFICERS BUT THE NEW ATTEMPT ON POLICE THIS MORNING, Why did you change my title?
This is why he had no political future after he left office in New York City. As one astute Freeper noted at the time: Rudy Giuliani is the solution to a problem that most Americans don't have.
I know, but what I had deleted wasn’t deleted and changed, so my apologies.
The Side Bar Monitor changed my title also to be about those assassinated and not the new attempt this morning...why didn’t he/she read the article excerpt?
NYC like many places, Chicago, Atlanta, and LA need a leader who uses the police more strictly than smaller towns. There is no way to keep law and order in the projects without it.
Now that is an interesting point! I hadn’t thought of that. Won’t that make for gas on a fire?
It's been open season for decades. NYPD has even gunned down a black undercover NYPD cop, and dented the hood of a car with the face of another one.
I think it isn’t about what we expect, but what we demand, and as citizens of a country we have a responsibility to speak up even if it isn’t our city...because if we don’t, it will be our city.
It helps if you ping the admin moderator to your question.
How much more "strict" can you get than breaking off a toilet plunger in a handcuffed prisoner's butt? How does that contribute to law and order? NYPD is learning about Galations 6:7 first-hand, it would seem.
Ping to question.
Personally, I think it would make more sense to just remove them from the United States.
Thank you, because the writer of that article made changes to the article from yesterday this morning, which was what I was using.
Then the moderator changed my title making it look like the old title, sic.
The excerpt I used was from the same article, but what the original author had updated for today.
Where do they get these monitors?
As all sane people already know, gun laws will not keep guns out of the hands of those who want to use them.
Guns--illegal or not--would flow to the combatants like Niagara Falls.
If you have violent killing like the two cops, that gives the mayor and police commissioner (who is being stopped by Mayor) to issue curfews like 9 pm, or roadblocks in and out of high crime areas with searches, all due to those threats by protestors that I had listed from CHANTS. That is law.
When the killings stop after a period of time that can go back to normal, but circumstances warrant a crackdown now, but to get it MAYOR de Blasio has to go.
What is Aunt Esther doing in the middle?
