stubborn crime in the projects makes people think the police don’t care

Is it just me -- or is that a nonsensical statement?

It’s a stupid sentence.

Makes perfect sense.

The police are blamed for the crimes black people inflict on each other because they don’t prevent them.

And they’re blamed for anything they do to try to prevent them.

There is one aspect I don’t understand. The cops were of asian and hispanic heritage and all the interviewees were hispanic. The murderer, the executioner , was black.

Was it a mixed race neighborhood or predominantly hispanic?

At best, the incident represents total failure of diversity. The good people, the cops , and the scum just don’t get along.
