Two uniformed NYPD officers were shot dead Saturday afternoon as they sat in their marked police car on a Brooklyn street corner — in what investigators believe was a crazed gunman’s execution-style mission to avenge Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
“It’s an execution,” one law enforcement source said of the 3 p.m. shooting of the two officers, whose names were being withheld pending family notification of their deaths.
The tragic heroes were working overtime as part of an anti-terrorism drill when they were shot point-blank in their heads by the lone gunman, who approached them on foot from the sidewalk at the corner of Myrtle and Tompkins avenues in Bed-Stuy.
“I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today,” a person believed to be the gunman wrote on Instagram in a message posted just three hours before the officers were shot through their front passenger window.
“They Take 1 Of Ours … Let’s Take 2 of Theirs,” the post continued, signing off with, “This May Be My Final Post.”

I hope DeBlasio retires suddenly and unexpectedly and hears a very loud noise before it happens. The blood of these two NYPD cops is on his hands. He has ratcheted up the tension when he SHOULD’VE been working to diffuse it.

You might notice that Detroit has been very quiet through all of this. They’ve had a few small protests but mostly a couple dozen of the same people.
They do have open carry in Detroit and they really like the GOP appointed police chief.

Time for police to abandon their cars and be given automatic weapons in NYC....There needs to be TV ADS “IF you disobey an order the first time after a few seconds, you will be shot, period. Enough is enough.
Anyone hard of hearing had better get a hearing aid and other notices need to become the norm up there, it’s not safe to be a white NYC police officer.
If NYC cops strike or otherwise don’t show up for work?

Well the mayor will be giving a presser in fifteen minutes. He will express his sorrow for the families and his outrage that this crazed person has used the senseless murders of BROWN AND GARNER, in a misguided rage against the police. Won’t be exact but will be close.
