Forget those plans by Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and other theaters to run Team America: World Police in place of The Interview. The Austin-based chain says that Paramount has now decided not to offer South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stones 2004 satire that focuses on Kim Jong-il, the late father of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Alamo says that the cancellation at its Dallas theater is due to circumstances beyond our control and says it will offer refunds to those who have already bought tickets. Clevelands Capitol Theater also tweeted that Team America has been canceled by Paramount Pictures.

Yes, Thunderbirds was great. There was a sublimal love story there between Parker and lady Penelope, lol.
Too young to remember.... Too old to remember more likely. I’m retired now but ever the alpha male, haha.
Is this about blackmail based on information in the emails, that we haven’t seen?
I’ve seen zots that were much worse.
With each passing day, it becomes clearer and clearer how it was that Hitler was able to brainwash the masses so easily. In this day and age, I have come to the conclusion that people are, by default, morons. Those few who choose NOT to remain ignorant are resigned to remain insignificant to the braindead majority.
IOW, for every ten people I encounter in any given day, I can reliably assume that six or seven of them are complete morons whose mental acuity ranges between that of a doorstop and a single-celled organism.
I’m definatly the top three, and am fully prepared to become the last one.
ME TOOOO I got it on Dvd LOL!
What happen to days of Parmount head Adolf Zucker or Jesse Lansky
Going back Sony Picture was once Columbia pictures I think Harry Cohn got his “Family friends’ whack Little Kim here
now I no that Sony is afraid of the E-mails being held back. I am positive that some one at Sony is afraid of a lawsuit if certan information is made public or even afraid of going to jail for something illegal they have done.
“As actors, it is our responsibility to read the newspapers, and then say what we read on television like it’s our own opinion.”
Most favorite show, ever.
LOL! It's more likely because Paramount doesn't want their network hacked and their dirty laundry aired like what hapeened to Sony.
Absolutely. Probably payback for all of disparaging e mails about the little dicktator that were hacked.
wow
North Korea conquers Hollyweird
More likely Paramount is scared to death about being the next Sony.
Pulling Team America is like pointing to Sony and saying “We’re not with those guys.”. Possibly buying themselves enough time to scrub their email servers.
Those don’t worry as much as the intelligent ones who fall for the garbage. I have many family and friends whom I consider to be intelligent, thinking people, who turn absolutely rabid when I disagree with their politics. It’s as if I’ve flipped a switch.
Matt and Trey I am sure will incorporate this into a new South Park episode.
Yes, I’ve got my own copy also.
I’ll just watch it instead of go to the theater.
Maybe I’ll call the family and friends and see if they’ve seen it.
“I need you like Ben Affleck needs acting school”
Undoubtedly.
But remember their Muhammed/Islam episode that got pulled? They may do an episode, but getting the suits not to disappear it is another matter entirely.
