Lt. Col. Allen West, reacting to Jeb Bushs announcement on Tuesday that hes seriously considering a 2016 presidential bid, used strong words to describe the politics of the former Republican Florida governor.
Appearing on FOX News with Sean Hannity, West, referring to Bush running against Democrat frontrunner Hillary Clinton, said that match is the last thing the country needs, labeling Jeb Bush a big government progressive.
When you look at by the time we get to 2016, were going to have a country with $20 trillion in debt; were going to have a massive, bureaucratic, administrative, regulatory state, and the last thing we need to see is a big government, progressive Republican running against a bigger government progressive socialist Democrat.
The former Florida congressman contends that in order for Republicans to win in the 2016 presidential race, the party needs to clearly delineate their vision and that of the Democrat Party.
In his famous 1975 CPAC speech, Ronald Reagan also encouraged the GOP to offer bold differences, saying, Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people.
West asserted that the biggest problems for a Jeb Bush presidential candidacy are going to be his unacceptable positions on amnesty and Common Core.

” When they say that a Conservative cant win, what they mean is that *THEY* cant win if a Conservative is running.”
Yes.
“Jeb isnt fooling anyone”
Unfortunately he’s got a lot of fat cat donors mesmerized.
Bold colors, not pastels
I will even take Sec Def or State
Good. Conservatives are getting restless. The establishment is due for a good ass kicking.
My wife’s choice for certain. I’m in the wait-and-see mode for the time being.
I don’t care for Jeb either. Jeb is to far left for me, but; West is nothing special either.
I don’t know why we buy off on this progressive bull-stuff!
They’re freaking Liberals, Leftists, Socialists, essentially Communists. Just because they want to change their label after destroying the last one, we don’t have to play along.
Bush is a Liberal statist Republican. Anotherwords, he’s a feakin Democrat.
Progressive? No, that’s a Liberal regressive.
Not no, but HELL NO< no freakin way am I voting for that POS.
Look at all the handwringing. What a waste of time. Jeb’s last name is Bush — that automatically disqualifies him from ANY national office. Liberals won’t vote for him because he is a “Nazi” and conservatives won’t vote for him because he is “progressive”.
Cruz/West 2016!!!!!
