The administration warned a federal judge Monday to stay out of the debate over President Obamas deportation amnesty, saying decisions about whom to deport fall squarely within the executives job description, which this court lacks authority to review. In its first extended legal filing in one of the court challenges to the new amnesty, the Justice Department says courts have long held that an agencys decision whether or not to prosecute someone or to enforce the law is entitled to absolute discretion.Federal courts sit to decide cases and controversies, not to resolve disagreements about policy or politics, said Joyce R. Branda, the acting assistant attorney general who took the lead on filing the brief.
Ms. Branda said the administration had to impose the new deportation amnesty because immigration enforcement has become too costly in recent years, outpacing the amount of money Congress provides, so picking and choosing which illegal immigrants to deport is the best use of taxpayers money.

The stuck pig squeals.
Got ‘em.
Drive harder.
Checks and Balances.
Who needs ‘em??
Can’t wait to hear this America hating communist pig squeal when he’s finally impeached.
Cost is a concern? OMG I had a good laugh at this one. ROFL!
Joyce R. Branda; another candidate for disbarment.
The Dear Leader has spoken.
By the way, the word “order” as in “executive order” appears only in the headline, not the body of the article — because there IS no executive order. Obama never signed one. This is just Obama doing stuff because he can. He’s making no attempt to go through anything like the proper motions.
Oh, I see. It’s all right if Obama refuses to obey the law, but heaven forbid the courts and Congress carry out their duties and he doesn’t like it.
So, the administration is implying the judge’s ruling was correct with regard to everything BUT the deportation policy? Work ID’s, Social Security #’s and benefits, etc?

article 2, section 3, clause 5 of the Unites States Constitution:
The President must take care that the laws be faithfully executed.
Game, set, match.
America is NOT a fascist dictatorship. Americans stop ANYTHING they don’t agree with. **** Obama and his commie regime. The Constitution doesn’t cover the Kenyan boy on this.
Louis 14 thought the same of the French Courts.
Well, I guess people forget that the Constitution is a contract between the states and the Federal Government. If Obama can breach it willy nilly, than what’s to stop a state from suing itself out of the Union, like Texas?
powerless? hardly.
impeach his ass and then try him for treason for aiding and betting America’s enemies
The Dictator in Chief has now declared that no successor dare overturn his rule and now he’s decided it’s his purview to tell the courts the scope of their authority, as he continues to obliterate the bounds the Constitution has placed on his office.
> Checks and Balances.
Who needs em??
Knife cuts both ways. We don’t need ‘em either then...
Let’s hope this really ticks off the judicial branch and he crosses a judge who stands up and takes him on.
