I asked this on Twitter and naturally 50 people instantly responded SMOD. Sorry, were not that lucky. With Jeb in the race, Christie very likely to get in, and Romney and Rubio now likely to pass, the field of loud-and-proud centrists appears to be set at two. And since the donor class loves centrists and the donor class tends to get its way in presidential primaries, that means one of these two guys is likely to be nominee. If it comes to that, whom do you prefer? And before you say Ill stay home, let me note: (1) conservatives say that every time a moderate lands the nomination and every time they end up turning out for him in the general, and (2) Im not asking whether youll vote for either of them. Im asking who youd rather see as president. Jeb, right? Bush has been louder than Christie has in pushing immigration reform but well all be shocked if Christie is any less of a RINO on amnesty in practice than Jeb is. Meanwhile, Jeb at least is well regarded by the NRA; Christies relationship with the NRA is more contentious. But then, if youre worried about electability, Christie has none of the baggage that comes with the Bush name. And Ben Shapiro is right that Jeb is more closely identified with amnesty among voters who pay attention, even if he and Christie doubtless share many of the same positions on the issue:

If that were the only two choices, I wouldn’t bother voting.
Indeed.
AllahPundit = RINO Central, but a (false) choice between a part-Mexican named Bush v. a fat loud guy from Joisey, I’d have to go with the latter. Crispy would be funnier to watch as the (losing) nominee.
Three of a kind, eh? Or is it Four of a kind, since Romney appears to be gearing up, too? (Well, at least Hillary wouldn't be stabbing us in the back.)
A fellow FReeper made a comment the other day along the lines of if you agree with Ron Paul you're wrong
… though, after seeing his farewell speech, I think he'd have been a better President than any of these three/four (and any of the past three Presidents, too).
Ditto that!
Not falling for it........Our party has enough problems than to allow stupid articles like this to further drive the wedge. I’m waiting for the primary to see who is really running for office........
Why not do both?
Bush/Christie 2016!

“let me note: (1) conservatives say that every time a moderate lands the nomination and every time they end up turning out for him in the general”
Speak for yourself.
I drew the line after McLame.
No RINOmney for me last time.
No RINOs in the future.
There are other people on the ballot that might be worthy of a vote. I wouldn't vote just because there is no one in a single race that I care to vote for. I'd just leave it blank or write someone in.
Pig In A Pant Suit.
Christie is heavier.
I would vote for any of these folks: Cruz, Lee, Palin or Sessions. I WILL NOT vote for ANYONE else, period.
I’ll stay home and let Hillary have it!
The choice between Jeb Bush and Chris Christie is tough. I would compare it to the following, if you would want an wire wire brush enema verses your left nut removed with vise grips and of course neither one with the benefit of anesthesia.
Christie for sure.
Neither. Ever.
I have a few Republican friends that are so entirely PISSED OFF right now that both are refusing to vote for ANY Republican ever again.
I’m feeling the same way.
F ‘em.
I would never “have to choose”. I could always find a way to commit suicide, or simply slip into a coma.
