One day after saying Elizabeth Warren and Ted Cruz had no idea what they were trying to accomplish, syndicated columnist George Will said Monday on Special Report the pair have two exceedingly strange careers underway.
Will told Fox News Doug McKelway that Cruz is indifferent to politics being a team sport, adding further that there hasnt been a more peculiar career in the Senate than the one Cruz is currently enjoying.
The conservative columnist also said while Democrats are bemused by his antics, he is loathed within the GOP caucus, while also telling McKelway if Cruz doesnt get the GOP nomination in 2016, assuming he runs for it, his return to Washington will be awkward.

Sorry George, but that is a badge of honor where conservatives are concerned.
Furthermore, do yourself a favor and quit hanging out with the Traitorous GOP-E, they’re poisoning your mind and your conscience.
The grass roots will give the nomination to Ted and the GOPe twits like Will, will be dumbfounded.
This ain’t no party...this ain’t no disco...this ain’t no foolin’ round. -Talking Heads
George Will lives in a bubble smaller than the bubble boy on Seinfeld. They guy looks like he’s never had a breath of regular air 99.9999999% of us breath.
Even more true about 0bama, Reid and Pelozi but Will would never say that.
I wuz wonderin if he had a stroke or sumpin? He obviously is not in his right mind.
Yes, it is a team sport with “we the people” not the GOPe!
George Will is not a Conserative. Huge Fox News fail. This is make-believe media BS. He is a progressive that thinks the so-called Republicans can run the massive, expansive Federal gov’t better than the Socialist Dems.
Give me one or two ideas this clown has said that has to do with reducing the size and scope of government.
Mr. Will, if your team is running toward the WRONG goal posts, it behooves a brave player to grab the ball and run toward the correct direction. Not help them make goals for the other team. Team players are all well and good, but when the team is running off the cliff, SOMEONE needs to shout out “STOP!”
i am beginning to believe he may be past his use-by-date. . .
Saw George Will on fox Sunday.
He was remarkably and palpably so loathing and disrespectful to Cruz re Cruz’s efforts against this destructive bill that I am still amazed.
he acted like a perfect snob. Though against those who wish the congress would protect the country.
It is so outrageous that Will and all the people with him, the GOP establishment, their pundits, their bundlers, do not see that the American people voted them out in November, and largely.
Those voters are not going anywhere. They are not squashed nor brushed off by these high horsed old guards. They are here to stay and coming in strong, and with leadership.
The ignorance of Will is what is so amazing.
The problem is that there aren’t enough Ted Cruzes on the team and the coaches suck.
These people are jut peeved to learn there is more than one team
Mike Lee and Ted Cruz are on my team.
The problem is the caucus should intuitively want to do things that show their base that they intend to keep their damn promises instead of sticking their elitist noses in the air and voting that Obama’s declaration of Amnesty was constitutional. Hell these guys talk as if even bringing up the constitutionality is crazy which illustrates a deep problem in the GOP leadership and a large part of the caucus. It suggests that they have the same ego power problem that Obama has.
No. Morons are a dime a dozen at colleges.
Protecting the Constitution ain't baseball.
