The primaries are the establishment’s Achilles heal.
We "need" another party, but a substitution of a third party for the Republicans would require a transition period with dominance of the Democrats. We all can see how much damage Ovbama did in just his first two years with carte blanche to do whatever he wanted. I don't think the Republic could survive. The only option is to wrest control from the eGOP.
Twitterize the bastard!
Wait. That’s gotta be wrong... NO Republicans voted against?
The way to do what you want is to have a secondary...... a process that selects the conservative candidate from the field before the primary.
The winner of the GOPc secondary becomes the GOPc candidate in the primary.
GOPc = conservative Republicans
Hope you’re right, but we know who is in charge and they will never give up their power. Whose to say there are not enough ticked off in both Parties that a true conservative Party wouldn’t win?

We here at FR are part of a very small select group that is incredibly politically astute.
The rest of conservative voters have some political expertise but it's so small they are unable to put the bigger picture together the way we do here without even thinking about it. And we can only do it because we live and breathe politics.
The rest of the world does not. They live in a world of Survivor, the Voice and Monday night football. Remove them from that world and they are virtually lost.
Everything looks easy and seems easy to you since you are at the literal top of the mountain that everyone else is still climbing.
Todd follows with "almost everything you worried about has happened". (Todd pauses awaiting a mea culpa from Cheney. It does not come.) Cheney finally says, "so what's your question ?"
With GOP ‘leadership’ who needs Dems? Who voted against this in the house and senate? I know some were Dems who thought it was for Wall Street...
Wow I miss all that. No tv for two weeks maybe monday.....
Starting a third party (or really a fifth party, since Libertarian and Greens are third and fourth) would help cement the Dems as the PARTY and we would go down the Socialist path...to Marxism.
One thing that is axiomatic, however, is as the price for a raw commodity drops, the production cost will drop as efficiency metrics are squeezed... OR as production costs drop, more of the commodity is available in the market, and the commodity price drops.
All I can say is that is in our best interests to get the F, dash, dash, dash out of the Middle East. Let them all suicide bomb their women and children. Let them all behead each other and fight over who gets to screw the 72 virgin goats. Let the sands all be turned to glass in a nuclear holocaust, and let CHINA send hundreds of thousands of their surplus wage slaves (currently working in the novelty fake plastic dogshit factory) to police their energy supply.
Ted was speaking out against this bill...
Can you imagine an R primary debate between Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz ? I can. Jeb would want to change his party affiliation after being undressed by Ted
