Welcome to California, home of the finest, most progressive school system in the country. And if your 13 and 14 year old children are attending Acalanes High School in Lafayette, California, they can learn all sorts of amazing things. For example, they are probably right up to date on the best water based lubricants for intercourse, the best way to beat a pesky, sexually transmitted infection, and the wide range of options they have regarding which gender they would like to be.
Along with local area groups, some parents are irate that their childrens sex ed class at Acalanes High School in Lafayette is being taught by employees of Planned Parenthood without their prior knowledge. They are also fuming over the methods and materials being used, including a checklist that asks students if they are ready for sex and another worksheet that describes how to give and obtain consent, as well as a diagram that uses a “genderbread” person for lessons in gender identity.
[Parents] are very concerned, Brad Dacus, president of the Pacific Justice Institute, a non-profit legal organization that is assisting the concerned parents, told FoxNews.com. Planned Parenthood is not exactly the best when it comes to putting young people first.
They get more grants from the promiscuity of children, he added. The material they have provided was material that mirrored their agenda.
Apparently they needed to bring visiting professors from the Planned Parenthood clinic because none of the local, homegrown ninth grade teachers were signed off on the correct way to ask your girlfriend, “Is it OK if I take my pants off? to make sure that everyone is on the same page. But in case you were wondering if perhaps the children had accidentally been signed up for a course intended for adults, the following teaching aide should answer the question.
And of course there’s going to be homework. Don’t forget your Ready For Sex Checklist, kids!
These are ninth graders. Some of the parents interviewed for the article said that the course offered an opt out form which provided parents with a handful of bullet points about what the course would cover. Apparently the bullet points in question neglected to mention the section on lubricants and the trouser removal guide. But hey… the taxpayers won’t mind footing the bill for this. It’s all part of preparing for adult life on the Left Coast.
And they know nothing of parsing a sentence, conjugating, declension, quadratic equations, the periodic table but instead are filled with this nonsense.
Commie lib ‘RATS are some really sick ****s!
This is what they voted for by keeping Jerry Brown as Governor. That is who he is and what he encourages. We tried to inform and warn, but too many remain hypnotized that voting Rep. is evil.
I thought the fags and queers down at “Planned Parenthood” were only into baby killing. When did they get into creating sex freaks?
It's not like the GOP in CA made an effort in the Governor's race. Geez, you expect people to follow, what, nothing?
What can't be ignored is California's financial picture is way better because of Brown. That does not excuse the stuff posted as this thread but as far as the CA GOP doing anything about it that is laughable.
The two go together hand in glove.
IMO, California’s financial picture is better under Brown, because he took over when it was in the absolute pits. He would have had to work very hard to make things worse.
He is however increasing spending now based on the upturn, which will mean that we’ll continue build more debt and not pay off what we have.
Then when things turn down again, there will be massive pain, and things that shouldn’t be cut will be rather than the Leftist crap they’re increasing spending on now.
As for you comments about the Republican Party in California..., what Republican Party in California? Which is basically the point you were making. I agree with you.
How is CA’s financial picture better? You surely cannot believe the numbers the papers are posting? Our local paper says unemployment is well under 5% but commercial real estate has a 25-75% vacancy depending on which town you are in. There is no way we are all working out of our homes. Nearly every sizable private business has downsized and/or moved into smaller facilities. There are very few new businesses. Other than fuel, prices are crazy. Every county and city is strapped for cash and is seeking to raise taxes. I believe if the real numbers were known, we would realize we are in a depression.
BTW, it’s so bad in the state I couldn’t honestly tell you who ran this last time on the Republican ticket. It’s a complete waste of time to try and help. I vote for the guy with the (R) in state. That’s about all the energy I’m going to expend on it.
The R.P. doesn’t help financially unless it’s a brain dead Rino. If it’s someone who could actually turn the state back in the right direction, the (so called) Republican Party leaders vanish for a year or so.

Its best to choose your sex at the earliest age possible.
Why wait till 9th grade?
You’ve got it wrong. We were headed for financial disaster. That is not disputed and he is not headed to a wild spending spree. He has a very frustrated legislature that would like to spend. He’s focused on building reserves and getting the pension problem addressed (btw, did you see that the number of state retirees just surpassed the number of people paying into the PERS retirement system last week?)
The rest of it I’m sure you and I agree and I always respect your viewpoints. But on the state’s finances there just is no other way to look at it other than Brown stopped a financial train wreck.
We certainly agree. I think we are both looking at the situation in terms of practical reality. It is not anywhere where either of us would like to see it. For starters, is there a business that has not been chased out of California yet?
