If the Senate changes the bill in any way, it would have to be voted on again in the House.
Good Q. I was under the impression that once it leaves the House, it can’t go back unless some major constitutional problems are found.
Good thing we have Cruz as goalie! Now shut it down. As much as the MenSeekingMen will try to obfuscate, over Christmas Dinners will be the talk of Cruz shutting down the gov over Amnesty and Zerocare, and those who voted in Nov will get at least some confidence their vote wasn’t thrown away.
Note the RATS and MSM are poised to give Warren the credit if it shuts down.
Right, including amendments, and the House has pretty much gone home, haven’t they? Popcorn!
Shazam is right, dear KC!!!
Just got this from NumbersUSA....
The Senate is debating a government spending bill this weekend that will fully fund President Obama’s executive action that grants amnesty to millions of illegal aliens at the cost of US taxpayers.
We need to take the fight against executive amnesty to twitter today. Please use the hashtags #CRomnibus and #defundamnesty in your tweets to Senators.
Senate staffers will be monitoring twitter closely today and we need to make sure that the #defundamnesty message is by far the most prominent being sent to Senators.

Please start tweeting at Senators now with the hashtags #CRomnibus and #defundamnesty.
Thank you for your activism
Go Sen Cruz and Lee! May He keep and bless them both!
May snatch a victory here. :-)
Yep. And so if they can force the vote, Fauxahontas will require a vote on her issues too. As the article states, some will pass.
Then it's back to the house. So IMO Cruz and Lee will be whipping votes to support Fauxahontas... wow...
The bill returns to the house and all bets are off after the message that house members have been getting.
I hope it works. If not, at least we've got some folks on record. So even if it doesn't pass, it has achieved something important from my pov - identifying and recording votes in favor of full-on amnesty.
That would be the “normal” thing to do. don’t expect that from any Libtard. Rino’s are already turning against the voters. Dems will not be able to figure that out. They will win by losing.
Agree 100%....and BTTT!
Go Sens Cruz and Lee!!
#CruzControl!!
BTTT!
Its a shame GOP junior senators have to do the leadership’s job for them.
They ARE the defacto leaders!
#CruzControl!
No, McConnell has been there since noon today. Most of the Senators were there by 12:30 pm and they started their procedural votes, which will go late into tonight.

Yep and maybe the Congs punt on funding until next year.
Besides #CRomnibus and #defundamnesty, we should consider beginning some hashtags related to electing a new speaker and a new majority leader..
possibilities?
#newleaders
?
Sen. Sessions (AL), too! Pete Sessions (rep) from TX can rot in hell! Good hunting, conservatives, kill as many gop-ESTAB birds with as many stones you can throw!
Nancy Bonor had the votes to do this but he swished like a fairy.
The H of R have already left DC for christmas. This will tick off Boehner if he has to call all the H of r back. He will lose the vote a second time. But I am not going to hold my breath. every time it looks like it will work from OdumboCare at the last moment it changes to too something else.
I like your idea. How about
