If they don't get Boehner out of the Speaker position and replace him with a constitutional conservative, we know it's all just political theater.

Never forget it would've only taken 17 (approx.) true constitutional conservatives to vote against Boehner to stop him from being Speaker this session. It's totally on the "conservatives" who voted for him that we have this outrage now.

The rallying cry should be “Primary the 162” The Tea Party and conservatives should start now to find formidable opponents now.

Duh, it’s what fascist dictators do, they dictate. Republican leadership are all fascist/socialists, just like all the democrat leaders.

When will the low information conservative leadership start using the correct terms to describe who they are, fascists, instead of low information voters, progressives, liberals, left-wing.

When Rush and the other conservative talking bobble-heads start using the correct terms to describe what we face then the American people will wake up.

But they all sold their souls by refusing to report on the BC issue as dictated by the Republican leadership, so they lack the creds now.

Hope, as some Dems would vote him in.

The libs know a good thing when they see it, and they really do not wish mad Nancy in charge again.

I can envision Cruz and Palin campaigning as Pres/Veep candidates. They would get the message out and on-track like Reagan on steroids. Would be thing of beauty.

I can dream can't I?

They can’t get Boehner out.

Any congress critter who even HINTS at a leadership vote gets torpedoed and loses his committee seats etc.

Boehner is an obvious DNC plant. Ohio should recall him, immediately.

The fix is always in. Between lobbyists combined with lucrative committee assignments...not to mention a little NSA thrown into the mix, the same ones always manage to get (re)elected as *leaders*.

Preach it, Sarah!

She is very effective in presenting our thoughts. I like her in this role.

Here Are the 67 Republicans Who Voted Against the Massive ‘CRomnibus’ Spending Bill

Dec. 11, 2014 10:31pm Jason Howerton

The massive $1 trillion “CRomnibus” spending bill squeaked through the U.S. House of Representatives with a 219-206 vote on Thursday night.

That means more Democrats than Republicans opposed the spending bill as only 57 Democrats voted for it.

Among those voting against the unpopular spending bill were 67 Republicans, including conservative favorites like Reps. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) and Dave Brat (R-Va.)

Cruz, Lee Lead GOP Senate Attack on Spending Bill
Saturday, December 13, 2014 08:02 AM

By: By ANDREW TAYLOR

First it was objections by House Democrats that stood in the way of passage of a $1.1 trillion catchall spending bill. Now it’s the Senate Republicans’ turn, specifically Ted Cruz of Texas and Mike Lee of Utah.

The two lawmakers demanded a vote Friday night on a proposal to cut funds from the bill that could be used to implement President Barack Obama’s new immigration policy, ending any chance the measure could clear the Senate and be sent to the White House with a minimum of fuss.

Officials in both parties said the bill remains on track for clearance by early next week. Even so, the move led Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., to abandon plans to adjourn the Senate for the weekend, and raised the possibility of a test vote on the spending bill shortly after midnight on Saturday.

Senate Republican leaders have pledged to challenge Obama’s immigration policy early in the new year, after the GOP takes control of the Senate. But Cruz suggested they shouldn’t be entirely trusted to keep their pledge.

“We will learn soon enough if those statements are genuine and sincere,” he said, in a clear reference to Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell and Speaker John Boehner.

Ironically, Cruz and Lee played a major role in events slightly more than a year ago that led to a partial government shutdown — an event McConnell, Boehner and most Republicans have vowed to avoid repeating. This time, Republican officials said they may have inadvertently given Reid an opening to win confirmation for several of Obama’s nominees that might otherwise have languished.

With the end of the two-year Congress approaching, Reid is pressing to confirm about 20 Obama nominees to fill posts such as surgeon general, director of the Social Security Administration and federal judgeships.
