Since the Republicans regained control of the House of Representatives, we expected wonderful changes to come. We once again had control over the house along with having the ability to have some control over what was taking place to our Country.
We knew that President Obama was a rogue President who had control over both houses. This left the Republican Party with virtually nothing they could do. Even when President Obamas own party did not agree with him. He would simply use executive privilege and pass it anyway.
After the election and the Republicans gained control over the House of Representatives. Republicans now had the ability pull in the reigns of the President even if he did use executive Privilege. Since Congress has control over the nations Budget as stated in Article I Section 8 of the Constitution. Congress has the ability to refuse to fund any laws or acts that required funding. Speaker Boehner however never allowed the House to vote against funding laws Obama passed through Executive privilege.
As a result over the following two years, the President routinely went around Congress without fear of Congress doing anything about it. The most the Republican Party managed to get was an occasional empty threat by an ineffective Speaker of the House. This is why over the past two years we have heard virtually nothing from the House of Representatives. Speaker Boehner blamed it on the Democratic controlled Senate. Yesterday he proved this was not the case.
Even knowing that come January the Republican Party will have control over both Houses. Speaker Boehner elected to endorse a one year extension on the Budget. This is why it is imperative that Congress forces Boehner to resign as soon as possible.

Someone stabbing you in the back while you are fighting someone else, is often more dangerous than the guy you are fighting.
“I’m all in favor of Term Limits (one term in office, two terms in Jail)”
LOL! Me too!
Agreed, especially Boehner, nobody wants shamnesty, he stabbed all Americans in the back and needs to be recalled and booted. This would send a nice message to the RINO leadership that we're not messing around and give hope to defeating statism in this country.
CGato
They would be better than what we got now. The elitist RINOs got to be terminated.
“That is, if they have the courage!”
They had better, then they had better start making changes REAL fast because as of right now million of like minded people are not going to vote GOP anymore. Not me, and not millions like me.
Fixed the headline
"Would you really do that to me?"
Ye! You fu*ckin' moron!
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay past time.
some of us have been saying it for years
yes, we have! :-)
There is no recall permitted for House or Senate, as the procedure is not in the Constitution.
WTF is up with this “bipartisan” redistricting garbage in Ohio?
That is a state function.
both of them seem not only impudent but rather openly corrupted. They represent nether the people of their district nor the people of their party in their actions but what ever common Washington Power that also controls the DNC.
Bttt
For us, long past time for him to go
For his colleagues, they think he brought them the majority and increased it, according to Rep. John Fleming, R-LA
For the American people, who’s Boehner?
“WTF is up with this bipartisan redistricting garbage in Ohio?”
_______________
Haven’t heard of anything. The 2011 redistricting was far from “bipartisan”; Republicans controlled the process and drew a 12R-4D congressional redistricting plan (unlike in 2001, when cowardly and selfish RINO Gov. Taft insisted upon a compromise in which Sherrod Brown and Ted Strickland got Democrat seats so that they wouldn’t run for Governor and Lt. Gov. in 2002) and solidly pro-Republican state legislative plans.
I rest the entire issue on the backs of those voters in Ohio...
That’s your guy!!! He must have invented sliced bread...
The best thing to come out of there since...since...Oh, well...I guess you Ohioans know better than I...
If you’re looking for political courage from Congress to make a change...I hope the expectation is tempered...It is not going to happen...
So that leaves us with the folks in Ohio...I wonder what they’ll do???
(That sound, you do not hear, is me holding my breath)/sarc
As it is life goes on anyway...Just a little deeper in the hole...
