President Barack Obama’s Nov. 21 amnesty puts millions of illegals on a fast-track to citizenship, Utah Sen. Mike Lee announced Thursday.
Obama and his administration “have cleared the pathway to citizenship for millions of people who have crossed out borders illegally,” Lee said in a Thursday speech on the Senate floor.
“They know what they have done, and it is illegal,” he added.
Obama’s amnesty allows illegals with U.S.-born children to briefly leave the country, perhaps for a business meeting in Canada, and then be given “advanced parole” by border officials that lets them legally return to the United States.
Once they have legally returned under “advanced parole,” they can be immediately sponsored for a green card and citizenship by their adult child, he said.
That process bypasses U.S. law that requires illegals to leave the country for 10 years before their U.S.-born adult children can sponsor them for citizenship, Lee said.
Lee spoke shortly before Republican House Speaker John Boehner tried to muscle through a 2015 budget that doesn’t bar federal spending to implement Obama’s amnesty.
The budget’s support for Obama’s amnesty is opposed by numerous GOP legislators and a significant slice of the GOP base.
Obama’s amnesty offers work permits, drivers’ licenses, Medicare and Social Security to five million illegals who have children with citizenship or green cards.
The five million could get citizenship via Obama’s new parole technique.
“The president claims that he is not changing this rule, but that’s exactly what he’s doing,” Lee said.
“So long as you have a business meeting in Toronto. you can get permission to leave and be paroled back into the country on your return … [and] once you do that. … You can get a green card and get citizenship,” Lee said.
The method is illegal, said Lee, because Congress has narrowly defined when the administration can offer “advanced parole” to foreigners, he said.
Parole can only be offered to people “only on a case-by-case basis for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit.”
These reasons include allowing a person without a visa to attend the imminent funeral of a relative, or to act as a witness in a trial, he said.
Obama’s plan to provide parole to many returning illegals “clearly violate U.S. law,” he said.

We have witnessed a silent coup of the US gov’t. There is no doubt foreign enemies are running our government now 100%. Not a single gov’t official has been prosecuted in the last 6 years despite massive corruption.

I have called my congressman’s local office and spoken with a lady who said they have had lots of people each read a bit of the law, so that counts as reading the law. I told her it was ethically criminal not to read such a monstrosity; she was very sensitive to the accusation that they’d not read the law. It was obvious that no one had read and understood what they were voting on.
I told her that Boehner is using Pelosi tactics, and that’s reprehensible; that we’re better than that. She listened and she was polite, but she still wanted to argue that lots of folks reading pieces equals one person knowing that law.
Then I sent an email.
Then I called the Washington House Operator and was put on hold.
Then I called Wenstrup’s Washington Line and got voicemail and left another message.
We need to stop this train wreck.
I’m betting that if the conservatives join hands to block this that Boehner will violate the Hastert Rule and stab us in the back.

New York CITY probably already has been handing out ballots since 2008. Not Upstate NY. NYC should not be part of NYS. They should be their own state. And they can have Albany too. That whole corridor is a Massachusetts.

On FOXNews with Hannity, Michele Bachmann basically confirmed that this was all about illegal immigration.
They had to pass it before the new Congress is sworn in. Both Democrats and Republican Establishment types want it in the worst way.
For different reasons obviously. Democrats want a permanent Voting bloc reliant on the government goodies and handouts and the Rockefeller republican wants cheap labor for their big business paymasters.

You won’t get into Canada unless you have something valuable to contribute and financial self sufficiency, and you won’t get a job there either unless you have legal residency.
Only our corrupt USA political elites tolerate this for either their handouts from the cheap labor lobby, or politics and potential voters. The USA citizens be damned.

You have two years to buy guns. After that, within a few months of the new and permanent Democrat majority in every House, Senate, State Senate, State Assembly, Mayorial, and Governors office, guns will be rapidly and completely banned.
The former Soviet Union allows smoothbore shotguns (breechloaders), and after you have proven yourself with a few years of ownership of that, the odd bolt-action rifle.
You may look to America to be far more restrictive than the former Soviet Union.
