A segment on today's Ed Show was very instructive as to what lies not far beneath the surface for many in the current protest movement.
Two guests, discussing Ferguson and Staten Island, agreed that a key problem in America is . . . capitalism. First up was Rosa Clemente, a "hip hop activist" and 2008 Green Party VP candidate: "Capitalism, I think that is the institution all over this country. It is really the oppressive force." Next, Georgetown Prof. Marcia Chatelain, who said that the current moment has revealed "an incredible critique of capitalism that it isn't just police brutality but the way people are forced to live." You know what ticks me off, is that none of these liberals are talking about the fact that it is THEIR policies that forced those cops to go out and act like tax collectors, busting anybody who skirts cigarettes taxes. A guy who sells one single solitary cigarette and they have orders to bust him so Democraps can collect their damn nickel tax. How about these idiots talk about THAT? All the crap cops have to deal with, Mohammed and Abdul looking to hit Times Square, the Bloods and Crips fighting like the wild west, people getting robbed, raped, murdered and they got FOUR cops taking down a guy like hes a mass murderer all because he sold a freakin cigarette. And these city council members who are ALL liberal had the GALL to go out the other day in the street and protest??
Off topic but...
“People are flooding the borders of North Korea to get away from capitalism.”
The book Escape From Camp 14 is outstanding...as far as the info and insight it presents.
It’s not written very well, but it’s worth the effort.
Yes, that was a very enlightening book.
Imbecile!
It’s not just the cigarette tax. Its also the people who the Garners of this world attract to their enterprise, who then loiter and hamper entry of customers to the legitimate business
With the former the basis of the Muslim faith.
A face not even a mother could love
Teh “Green” Party. Green on the outside, commie red on the inside.
socialists kill a guy and the fault is capitalism
lol
He bought packs of cigarette ... broke them down into singles... and sold them for a profit..... that’s called capitalism!!!!
..he was arrested under anti-free market capitalism government laws...
Thats a man baby!
Caption the photo above to read: “I can’t cognize”...
It’s not a dude...
Anytime a crisis presents itself for these activists to get a public forum, they insert themselves into the dialogue and then proceed to hijack the narrative to say the problem is always capitalism. They do it with climate change too. It's never about climate change but system change....the revolution.... to dump capitalism and impose socialism.
The hilarious part about these losers is that they always want to get rid of the system that raises more people out of poverty and gives people a chance at being a success in life and replace it with socialism, the system that has never worked in any country on the face of the earth in history, ever. EVER!
What a bunch of LOSERS. Only a handful of people will ever see these idiots on TV because MSNBC is about as successful as socialism is. Epic Fail.
BTW. What the heck is a Hip Hop activist? Somebody credible on economics and financial systems, doncha know......
Your Photoshop images are too good. I am impressed. Great job.
It isn’t capitalism that is the problem. It is confiscatory taxation by a corrupt government that is the seed of most government evil and the reason that the People must be subjugated in order for said government to flourish.
Thank you.
It is not possible for it to economically work without the state ownership of most aspects of the economy. The economy then kills the state.
WTF is a “Hip Hop Activist?”
