AFFORDABLE CARE ACT:
The law is still funded, but there's no new money for it. There's also no new ACA-related funding for the Internal Revenue Service and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the two agencies most responsible for implementing the law. The bill also would cut the budget of the Independent Payment Advisory Board -- what Republicans have called "the death panel" -- by $10 million.
IMMIGRATION:
The bill only funds the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees most immigration policy, until February. But negotiators gave new money for immigration programs at other federal agencies. There's $948 million for the Department of Health and Human Service's unaccompanied children program -- an $80 million increase. The program provides health and education services to the young migrants. The department also gets $14 million to help school districts absorbing new immigrant students. And the State Department would get $260 million to assist Central American countries from where of the immigrant children are coming

I just read that Sessions has yet to vote and that his vote may kill the whole bill
The GOP can not really do anything til next year .I expect them to fold .we can thank the first GB he tossed everything Reagan did the first day..
Is Drudge getting amnesty ?
Your headline is weird... LOL
Jeff or Pete?
I expect them to fold

Fold, cave, capitulate, relent, succumb, concede, buckle under, etc.
What is it with FReepers who know better than to change the headlines?
I have to believe Obama had the nsa spy on Boehner.
Seriously, it’s time for a third party NOW! I’m done as of this moment hoping that RINOs will do the right thing with a majority. WE ARE RULED BY ONE PARTY WITH 2 CLIQUES THAT TRADE OFF FROM TIME TO TIME.
We can do this before 2016! A third party will become the first party very quickly.
Cant say they won't deserve it.

Jeff Sessions is in the Senate. They are talking about the House Appropriations bill here. Has it already made it’s way to the Senate?
Boehner needs to go!
There are many synonyms for Republican.
None of them are good. ;)
Meaning the GOPe will deserve it, not the base.

“Backstabbing Two Faced Weasels” come to mind....
“Not true. The GOP House is required to pass this CR. They can just choose to NOT do that.”
Boehner could have waited and pass a stop gap bill only. He did this because he wanted to betray the American people. I guess he also thinks we are stupid.
Boehner needs to go!
The base deserves what it votes for. Unfortunately, the base is easily deceived, manipulated and misled. One would think by now there would be more accountability demanded but such is not the case. Not the case at all.
The Democrats are probably relieved by the Republican “victory” (actually it was a “win” by default). The Dems will continue getting their way but will have a scapegoat to blame for the next two years for anything that goes wrong. If you’re a Dem, what’s not to like? ;)
Boehner needs to go!

Agree but Boehner is just the symptom, not the disease. The infection is widely spread deep within the party.
