Tuesday’s willful, unnecessary and gratuitously destructive release of the one-sided “torture report” at the insistence of outgoing Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. (backed by the White House) amounts to nothing less than providing aid and comfort to the enemy in wartime.
Can anyone cite one practical good accomplished by releasing this gratuitously destructive report at this time? Will revealing successful practices make us more secure? No.
The report provides a propaganda windfall for Islamist fanatics. Will it benefit our allies? No. It exposes those who took great risks to help us in the wake of 9/11. Will it “set the record straight?” No. It distorts the record grotesquely in the interests of political correctness, blame-shifting and short-term political advantage.

Our enemies would gladly exterminate every man, woman and child in the United States. Senator Feinstein just handed them a gift. But the president wrapped it.

Feinstein is beyond retirement age, and it’s showing. She and Nancy should fly home to enjoy the beauties of Northern CA for the rest of their lives.

Obama is the only US president to have granted immunity for torture.
She better hope that San Franciso environs are not the sight of a major terror attack...there are several sights in that area that would be huge propaganda targets for jihadists.

I meant to add a big sarc tag on my aforementioned comment because I don’t think N. California (or any part of CA) is very beautiful any more. I speak as a 3rd generation native who happily lives elsewhere.
I was thinking the same this AM, as I sat in the lobby of my little bank in WI while my husband adjusted his accounts, and admired the profuse Christmas decorations while I sipped gratis coffee and nibbled a fresh baked cookie. Not a shred of bullet-proof glass was in sight. We then trundled over to the Post Office where the lobby is open 24/7 and there is a computerized kiosk where you can buy stamps, weigh packages, and free shipping boxes are available. All on the honor system.
I feel so lucky to live in this little corner of Wisconsin when I think about my late mother’s bank in CA where everybody is behind several layers of bullet proof glass and it’s easier to speak Spanish through a little hole than English.

Just to be clear. There is nothing, allow me to repeat, there IS NOTHING that we do to these animals in pursuit of finding their plans to kill us, where they may be, what they may be planning etc.
When they flew air planes loaded with civilians into buildings loaded with civilians they gave up any connection to humanity and the normal protections granted humans.
The Jihadists would NEVER attack there...Their chance of hitting a real American would be almost nil!!
