Evening all!
We have flying doctors too.
Much of this area is hard to access.
This time of year many pilots volunteer to fly presents into the really isolated places..
God Bless your work.
Look out for quick thermals and down bursts..
Good evening, CMS!!!! Soooo good to see you pop in tonight! Hope all is well with you and your family!
Where are you located now?
The New England Primer was published in the late 1600s. Throughout the colonies that would later become the United States, the book became a widely used resource.
This early American textbook was based largely on the Bible, and it used pictures and rhymes based on Scripture to help children learn to read. It also included prayers like this one: Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord, my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take.
In Colonial America, this became a way that one generation was able to pass along their faith to the next generation. It fit well with what God wanted of His people, the ancient Israelites, as recorded in Deuteronomy 6:6-7, These words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach [Gods commandments] diligently to your children, and shall talk of them . . . when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
As we talk about who God is, what He has done for us, and how He desires our love and obedience, our lives can become primers to the next generation. We can be teaching tools that God will use to help people in their walk with Him.
I’m at good old Ft. Eustis, VA
Thank you - appreciate it very much. R/Janey
Sierra Vista is a truly nice town.
I spent a couple days there to catch up with a female friend of mine. Everyone at her church was great.
Gnight Gang.
The Internet ISP is going all wonky.
A very small, very international, tight knit place.

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went un-noticed last week.
Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote “ The Hokey Pokey”, (or Hoochie Koochie) died peacefully at the age of 93.
The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin.
They put his left leg in. Then the trouble started.............
Good evening, Connie, and thank you for the tributes to our troops. *HUGS*
