Not good. It looks like it’s a bit SE of Burbank & just S of Glendale. Pardon my cynicism, but my first thought was arson.
My bet is on a gas main or flammable liquid in mass quantity. That big a fire that involved doesn’t come from street riot arson. The building is under construction so lots of things could have gone wrong. Could be arson but it would be above the skill levels of the typical street thug. OR it’s an older inside wood structure building and those can go up real fast. Those type of fires can be caused by thugs or vagrants easy enough.
That’s an enormous fire, that isn’t some trashcans on fire.
