Hundreds of protesters returned to East Bay streets on Sunday for a second night of raucous demonstrations against police killings of unarmed black men in Missouri and New York.
Sundays protest started out largely peaceful in Berkeley, but by 9 p.m. crowds had climbed past lines of California Highway Patrol officers onto Highway 24 in Oakland, where they blocked multiple lanes of eastbound traffic.
Even as the crowd chanted peaceful protest, a group of people jumped on top of two law enforcement vehicles and kicked at the sirens, and several set small fires nearby. Police eventually moved protesters away from the cars, one of them damaged by fire.
SNIP---
Later in the evening, large crowds still remained in the streets, migrating to downtown Berkeley. On Shattuck Avenue and nearby streets, some businesses were vandalized and looted, and some trash bins were set on fire. Downtown Berkeley BART station was also closed.

That is Berkeley and Oakland...leftovers from the 60's....nothing has changed.
Looting and vandalism make you a hoodlum, not a protester.
In the 60's
This week at Berkeley...nothing changes
Somebody told them there were resistors there. ;-)

He claims (20 yrs after the fact) that the sat images would let you read the lettering on the manhole covers.
CAR 54, WHERE ARE YOU?
Luckily, Radio Shack got their address information.
You should not be so quick to trust online dictionaries.
The simplest and best definition of anarchist is: “one who works to or tries to bring about anarchy”.
Following are two definitions of anarchy (sourced from the Oxford dictionary of the English language):
1) A state of disorder due to absence or non-recognition of authority or other controlling systems.
Synonyms
2) Absence of government and absolute freedom of the individual, regarded as a political ideal.
The word is taken from the Greek anarkhos (’without a chief’)
Anarchy and revolution are NOT the same thing, they are not necessarily related to one another, and any dictionary that tries to equate them is simply wrong.
Online Dictionaries are only digital prints of real dictionaries....are you on drugs?

****Wrong on all counts....because Merriam-Webster Dictionary agrees with me.
Personal insults right out of the box. Nice.
Just so you’ll know, when I did a search using the words “definition anarchist” I had to dig 5 pages deep before I found ANY sign of the word revolution.
If you want to accept the PC, MSM, lib-tard definitions of words you are free to do so. Or, you could utilize a REAL dictionary, educate yourself a bit about the history and usage of words and learn their ACTUAL meanings. This I do not expect you to do, since you are so obsessed with proving you are right even over minor errors such as the one you originally displayed.
It’s been fun, but I gotta go do more “drugs”. Have a nice evening.
I should have added (sarc) after the drugs, it was meant as humor. You are the one obsessed with being right and went so far to criticize the dictionary.
Also, the online dictionary really is just a digital of the printed, so why the beef?
Here is one right from the ‘horse’s mouth’ so to speak:
Even the Berkley bunch call themselves anarchists.
How long before one of these “peaceful” protests turns violent and the useful idiots start begging for the cops space them fro getting their skull bashed in. The idiots who cheer them as they are trapped in their cars seem like prime targets.
Anarchists are the shock troops for communists. Communists have to tear down the civilization in order to rebuild it totally retarded.
Yeah, Burn Berkley Burn!!!! You deserve it.
>> “Berkeley has been living off of this Social Justice crap since the 60s”<<
.
Here’s “social justice” for you:
Most of the businesses along San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley and Oakland were owned by black families in the early ‘60s, but after “civil rights” and the “Great Society” got underway, most of them went out of business.
BBQ joints, clothes cleaners, automotive repair, grocers, all went under.
.
The dumbasses are at it again

Brilliant!
I wonder who gave our local media permission to discuss violence and break away from the “peaceful protest” narrative?
Someone was attacked by a hammer wielding justice warrior when he tried to stop them from breaking windows and looting( no link-local nooz )
a bunch of rich white kids try to get in on the act days after the announcement. I guess they waited until Monday because they didn’t want to mess up their weekend.
