Everybody knows that Bernie Sanders, the grandfatherly Independent Senator from Vermont is a socialist. He’s made no secret of it over the years, proudly proclaiming to anyone who will listen. To most people it’s no big deal: “at least he’s honest,” they’ll chuckle. Most people seem to imagine that Grandpa Bernie’s socialism is benign, owing much more to Sweden than Cuba, much more to modern West Germany, than to the old German Democratic Republic.
But is Bernie Sanders really being honest? What if he is actually more of a communist? A believer in class struggle? Of crushing the free enterprise system?
Does it matter? The man is a US Senator. His vote could decide the nomination of a Supreme Court Justice, or ratify a gun banning treaty with the United Nations. He is even seriously exploring a presidential run on the Democratic ticket. Damned right his real views matter.

That’s him all right. Though aren’t more progressives going islamist these days? That’s all the rage now. Even hillary’s bowed toward mecca and given voice to whatever vile phrase it is one utters.

In 2012 Sanders defeated his Republican opponent 71% to 25%. Bernie is beloved in Vermont and he’s in office until 2018.
Of course, Communism is for the ‘common good’.

I have family members and Facebook “friends” who live in Vermont and who support this commie coot.
It makes for a terribly tense Thanksgivings. Nobody talks politics because they’re afraid I’ll call them out or point out something they have no clue about. Really sad.
You’d never think that by going onto the C-SPAN Facebook feed. The sheer amount of idiots who post there is unbelievable. You tart questioning whether you really have things straight or not!
Seriously, It’s amazing just how many stupid leftists there are out there... but it just seems overwhelming. When you have 1000 lefties in any given American town, it really doesn’t compare to the amount of normal, common sense Americans who also live int he same town. Lefties and commies and other progressive types are just louder.... this is why conservatives need to be even louder and call them out at every opportunity.

I commend him for being honest about his beliefs,
unlike the democrats in general,
who aspire to the same goals,
but lie about it.
