Any form of physical contact has the potential to be lethal. Garner died of a heart attack, not strangulation - a “non-lethal” taser or pepper spray could easily have led to the same outcome.

I get the feeling there’s a broader narrative other than the one being forced on us. There’s more going on than just “liberal vs conservative” or one race against another.

The word “unarmed” needs to be replaced with a word that indicates ability to do physical damage to another. Not being good at language, what would that word be?

I won't go so far as to say "never". But I would think that lethal force should be the option of last resort and not the first choice. I'm not sure that's true anymore.

Given the clairvoyance the Slimes seems to possess, they failed to published the death of Eric Garner as result of lethal force beforehand. They share, implicitly, in his death. Burn the Old Gray Lady down.

I am 69 years old, if threatened with bodily harm I will shoot to kill. I’m too old to fight.
My landlord in 1980 was Bruce Lee`s cousin, Mr. *** Lee. He was 5’4” tall, 150 pounds . His hands were registered with Oakland police as deadly weapons. He could not use his hands in a fight or confrontation but merely threaten and demonstrate to the attacker that he would be killed, which was usually enough to deter anyone or else call the cops.. But if the attacker was armed he would be very quickly disarmed or killed by Mr. Lee. No problem. I saw him confront a 300 pound man who was armed with an axe. The 300 pounder retreated very fast and ran away.
Let an unarmed man who is about 6’5” break into one of these idiots houses and begin to threaten their spouse and their story changes.
Self defense is always an appropriate justification for deadly force, including the use of firearms. When an “unarmed” man attacks a smaller man or a woman, or one with less training and experience, the victim of the attack may use deadly force if a reasonable person would believe there was a danger of death or of serious bodily harm. I always prefer that the thug end up dead, since that protects future victims from a known violent predator, although the person exercising force may legally only “stop the threat”.
So now people are obligated to take a beating which could lead to their death?
