KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (WPVI) -- A tractor-trailer carrying 19,000 copies of advanced sections for Sunday's New York Times overturned on a highway ramp outside Philadelphia, littering the side of the road with bundles of Arts & Leisure, Travel and Book Review.
A Times spokeswoman says the driver appeared to sustain minor injuries in the crash around 5:30 a.m. Thursday on a ramp connecting the eastbound Schuylkill Expressway to Route 202 in King of Prussia. They're awaiting toxicology test results.
Eileen Murphy, the Times' vice president for corporate communication, says the 18-wheeler was en route to drop off sections printed in New York for home delivery subscribers in the Philadelphia area. She says the destroyed papers will be replaced and delivered.

Nothing important was lost.
"She says the destroyed papers will be replaced and delivered."
Would any one notice if they weren't?

Half the time you don’t get all the sections you’re supposed to get - there are a lot of complaints.

At least hog or cow dung could be used to fertilize the median, but the Times? Worthless.

The Old Gray Streetwalker should try buying a better quality trailer. The roof shouldn’t have burst open that easily.
Well, at least the they went to left side. Gotta be consistent.

Oh what a travesty Does king of Prussia now qualify for disaster relief from the Federal Gubmint? 19K of advance inserts are now history, and the New York Slimes is utterly devastated!

19,000 copies of advanced sections for Sunday's New York Times
Back in the early 60s, I lived in the NYC area and worked in a candy store.
On Sundays, I had to put all those advanced sections together (for 5 or 6 newspapers), and the Times was always the worst.
By the time I got done I was black from newsprint.
