You have given up your right to complain about Barack Obamas amnesty plan.
Just shut up. Stop complaining.
You know why? Because you did not do the one thing that could stop it. You did not call your congressman despite me making it very easy for you to do so.
Im in Washington, D.C. right now. Last night I had several members of congress tell me that theyre barely hearing from anybody.
So stop your bellyaching about amnesty if you cant even be bothered to call.
If you arent willing to call your congressman and demand he defund amnesty, stop bellyaching about it. Otherwise call now.

Yep
No I don’t know the EO number and was unable to find it with google.
You have my sympathies, she used to be mine. I sent her some letters during Clinton impeachment days, the responses back were the standard Democratic party line. You’re right, contacting her does nothing. My current rep is John Sarbanes, he’s just as partisan.
Until you cut off their allowance. Suddenly they hear you a block away.
Back to the primary board. If our reps don’t understand the mandate of Nov. 4, time for some reps who DO.

They all say this, when it is something they actually want anyway or not interested in. I have made called on some issues, and been told in so many words that "we're not getting any calls on this, your the first, I will let the Sen. or Rep. know, thank you for calling".
Same here in NM. Waste of time talking to Dems.
Precisely! No one is calling. Hmmm...did they hear us calling on Nov. 4th I wonder??? Ericksons right. Not many are calling.
Forgive me, xzins, but are you in DC working with the legislator's office? Personally, I think people ARE calling...and faxing...and emailing...and mailing...the problem is not the messenger, the problem is the receiver. Yet another reason why, after Nov. 2014, I'll not vote for another rotten, backstabbing, spineless, worthless Republican.
Introduced in House (11/20/2014) by Rep. Ted Yolo (R-FL)
Executive Amnesty Prevention Act of 2014 - States that no provision of the Constitution, the Immigration and Nationality Act, or other federal law shall be interpreted or applied to authorize the executive branch of the government to exempt, by executive order, regulation, or any other means, categories of persons unlawfully present in the United States from removal under the immigration laws.
Declares any action by the executive branch with the purpose of circumventing the objectives of this statute null and void and without legal effect.
Makes this Act effective retroactively, applying to any such exemption made at any time.
Since Congress has nothing to do with this I thought the appropriate answer would be stop paying illegals to mow your lawn. Petition your HOA or City and demand they stop paying firms that use illegal labor on city projects. Call your State legislature and ask why they are allowing state projects (roads, etc) to go to firms using illegal labor.
I was calling, daily. Both my congresscritters local office and DC office. The best I could get was “they are formulating a plan”. grrrr....
“You did not call your congressman despite me making it very easy for you to do so. “
Any idiot that thinks calling counts is an idiot.
You can write 250,000 letters, make 2,500,000 phones calls, send 25,000,000 emails, but there will be a DC lobbyist taking your representative to lunch and paying them a $250,000 bribe (read: Campaign Contribution) to ignore you.
I notified Joseph P. Kennedy III and Elizabeth Warren, but I don’t think they listened to me.
‘We’re going to punch the TEA party in the nose, but if they call us after the election we’ll reverse course and represent their wishes.’
This is what Erick is sincerely trying to get us to believe.
Read this thread....too many complaining about having to send an email to their congress critters.
I guess they think nothing is a better plan. B’ing and Moaning to their dog sounds like a plan.
Whatever they do, they better do it fast. It’s the LAME DUCK Congress that is going to decide this if they don’t do something fast, not the Congress they just elected.
The best idea I’ve heard so far is to fund most things for about 9 months or so, but fund only ICE and EPA for just 2 months. So they give Barry a fully funded bill.
I fail to see what making a phone call will do, when the message from this particular Congress critter is that “We will only do the right thing if we hear from our constituents.” The fact that our elected representatives won’t consider voting against amnesty until they fear for their jobs is utter lunacy.
