People LIE to polls. DO NOT underestimate the Landrieu machine, the hunger she has for power and the corruption/ignorance of Louisiana politics.

Things will improve for Landrieu after the final canvas of cemeteries in her district.

She’s peaking at just the right time! :p
By the time Saturday rolls around, she might close the gap from the election being a 30 point wipe out, to just a 15 point landslide!!

A large chunk of Landrieu’s base used to live in the NO 9th Ward. Now they live in Houston and vote for Shelia Jackson Lee.

There is a notable lack of leaks from Landrieus internal polling, for instance, which speaks volumes about what theyre seeing. Or it could mean they're out of money and can't afford to do any. Polls are the life blood of a campaign. They tell you which of your ads are working and with which demographic. If you aren't polling you aren't campaigning.
I think Landrieu's people are just putting on a brave face at this point, but it's over.

Yes, we were unlucky in that respect, thanks to Bill White who took IN all of the trash instead of throwing it away.

many of the employees of Landrieu will be taken over by Cassidy and others that are coming into Dc. There really is no turn over of the employees, they go from one candidate to the next at this level.
